As the saying goes, two is better than one. When it comes to LAQA & Co.'s fat lip pencils, we couldn't agree more. After all, these gloss-delivering pencils require no sharpener and give lips a vibrant sheen. Luckily, the company recently released the pencils in the form of a travel-friendly duo. The smooth shea-butter complex moisturizes and coats lips with saturated, glossy color, in two high-energy shades.
I'm a fan of bright red lipstick, so the pinky colors of these just didn't cut it for me. I thought that it stayed well and didn't crack, but not the best color for pale, redheads.2
Although I like the idea behind this product ... it's really the wrong shade for me. It does go on smooth and seems to last a while. I prefer a lighter shade ... the sample I received was too dark.2
This lip chubby lasts a long time but I was disappointed in the packaging. I do not know what it is about the stick that makes it retract on it's own but I have to open in and retract it back down all the time so it does not ruin in m purse. If this was in different packaging it would be better but it certainly does last.3
I like the bossy boots shade, but i still feel like i got some weird looks because it is so vibrant. the ring of fire was not viable considering my olivey skin and dark hair. this one might be better for those who club more, or are young enough to pull off a more "high-energy" look.3
I really enjoyed how easy this product was to apply. I received a sample in my monthly box. The only thing that I did not like was the color that was sent to me (bright pink)!3
This trio is great! They are great for touch ups on the go. The color last a few hours, but I would recommend putting Chapstick on before applying. The color will stick to chapped lips and doesn't look pretty.3
I have been enjoying the color of Bossy Boots, but Ring of Fire is a little to bright for me. I've gotten compliments on both, but they do tend to dry out my lips terribly.3
The colors go on nice. It does come off after eating. I liked the LA&Co 's Lip Lube product better. This is a lip pencil and is a bit more matte than glossy.3
I thought these pencils would be as emollient as the one that came in my Birchbox sample box. But I was disappointed. The colors bleed through the lip line quite a bit and are drying. Also the colors are quite intense and don't stay on in a good way. They get patchy pretty quickly. I wanted to love these...but sadly I did not.3
So, these go on really smoothly, and they seem like beautiful colors ( I got Wolfman and FairyBlood) but I think I just chose the wrong colors for my complexion. They are both very pale shades and not the right nude/pale shades for me.3
