As the saying goes, two is better than one. When it comes to LAQA & Co.'s fat lip pencils, we couldn't agree more. After all, these gloss-delivering pencils require no sharpener and give lips a vibrant sheen. Luckily, the company recently released the pencils in the form of a travel-friendly duo. The smooth shea-butter complex moisturizes and coats lips with saturated, glossy color, in two high-energy shades.
These "fat lip pencils" really pop! The colors are vibrant and they go on smoothly. I can't say they won't smudge but the color doesn't bleed, which is something I have come to expect with bright lipsticks. I dig these lip pencils.5
I think this is a great product. It's creamy and it doesn't make my lips feel dry. I'm not totally sold on the red color, because I don't know how well it looks on me, but the formula is nice.4
This is similar to other lip gloss sticks that have come on the market this year. What makes this one stand out is that it doesn't require a sharpener!
The product smooths on easily and has the texture of a lip balm, a little smoother than, say, chapstick. It's not at all sticky, and feels pleasantly moisturizing.
I'm using "ring of fire." The color is great, a beautiful rosy red. Unlike other glosses or balms, the color is pretty deep and saturated, and looks more like lipstick than gloss or balm.
Love, love, love. Will definitely be buying more of these!
As a person who HATES traditional lipsticks, I was pleasantly surprised with this product. It is not waxy at all, and has EXTREMELY saturated, opaque color - I mean POW-POW color - combined with unbelievable moisture. It gave a smooth, natural shine, and even though it felt light as a feather, it applied precisely and evenly - definitely no liner required. It absorbed into my lips instead of just laying on top, acting somewhat like a stain. Even after hours of normal eating and drinking, there was still a significant amount of pigment left, and my lips were left soft and well-defined, not dry and washed-out. The only caution I would give is that the color I received (Ring of Fire) was advertised as a bright red - in my opinion, it was more of a dark fuchsia. I have a warmer complexion, and cooler colors tend to clash in a big way. That being said, it was still UH-MAY-ZING! One-step, long-lasting, truly moisturizing color, perfect for someone who wants something simple, easy and fabulous.5
I got Ring of Fire, which on me was much more pink than the color would indicate. The color went on well and stayed for a while, but I found it wore off unevenly.3
I'm sort of surprised by all the positive ratings - I found this lip pencil pretty drying and did not enjoy the texture at all -- it wasn't a product I enjoyed wearing. To add insult to injury the red color looked a bit neon on me.3
I have never worn such bold colors on my lips and I just adore this. I can wear them with chapstick to make it more of a slight tint or I can layer it to darken it up. Just wonderful!!!5
I received the red color, 'Ring of Fire' in my Birchbox. It was the first product I tried and I love it. Great, punchy, red color. Easy to put on without looking like a clown. A good thing to throw in your purse for achieving a fun, impactful result that can be done in a car mirror. I have light/golden skin, green eyes, blonde hair and this red was on the magenta side when it fades which still looks good. The only drawback is that as a matte lipstick/stain this is something that you'll want chapstick on hand for as the day goes on. I'd definitely purchase.4
I really liked this lip pencil. got it as a sample in my December Box. the color was a bit bright for me, but the feel of it was very nice and it stayed on for a long time.4
My lips love the nourishment. I love the color and how moisturized my lips are after using this product. Has staying power as well.4
