As the saying goes, two is better than one. When it comes to LAQA & Co.'s fat lip pencils, we couldn't agree more. After all, these gloss-delivering pencils require no sharpener and give lips a vibrant sheen. Luckily, the company recently released the pencils in the form of a travel-friendly duo. The smooth shea-butter complex moisturizes and coats lips with saturated, glossy color, in two high-energy shades.
I bought this in Lambchop and Pinkman. I wasn't sure if both colors would work for me, but they do! I've never been big on wearing lip color but am trying new things lately. These are easy to use. You can use just a little over lip balm to get a lighter shade, or layer it on for a more bold look. Make sure your lips are super moisturized, I feel like this product dries my lips out a little so I had to keep applying lip balm over it to keep it looking good. Good price, too!4
I fell in love with the opaque texture and softness. Not quite matte not quite glossy. I love how you dont have to sharpen but just twist for more lovely color. Even though these are "mini" they will last a long time.5
A pretty color-- quite bold and easy to apply. Unfortunately, has something of a chemical smell to it, which makes it unpalatable to wear so near the nose. It's a shame, since this little pencil would've been a nice addition to my holiday festivities otherwise.3
I love it! My birchbox sample gave me just the perfect shade of red which I find so difficult to find.5
This was my favorite product in my box! The shade was perfect, lasts quite a while and keeps my lips soft! Doesn't feel greasy or heavy whatsoever. I love the small size too, I can fit it anywhere!5
soft on lips, love the color it give its. glides on smooth and is not sticky at all. leaves your lips shiny.5
I got a very red looking color (doesn't identify it on the tube) and when I put it on it looked much more of a cherry-fuchsia... Very very pink-y. The formula went on very smoothly and was matte but felt creamy. I did not, however, think it had any great staying power. It was coming off on everything my lips touched. Overall nice (in a less obnoxious color) but wouldn't go out of my way to purchase again.3
I just received the darker of the two in my birch box. I was worried it would be too red for my fair skin but when I put it on it was just right and more pink than red on my lips. My mom has olive skin and tried the product as well, it suits her too and is closer to the color of the pencil applicator. This makes teeth appear whiter too. I've been wearing the lip pencil for 6 hours now and haven't had to reapply. If you do wear it for a long time just apply once and bring some lip balm.5
This is my new favorite! I feel in love with this as soon as I opened it and wasn't disappointed! Very glad to have gotten this!5
Not sure why but I only received one in this sample. Confusing when it's marketed as a duo. The color is a bit bright for me, is my only complaint. I received the bright red one - the pink one also looks too bright for me but would love a coral/earth tone pair. Thanks!3
