As the saying goes, two is better than one. When it comes to LAQA & Co.'s fat lip pencils, we couldn't agree more. After all, these gloss-delivering pencils require no sharpener and give lips a vibrant sheen. Luckily, the company recently released the pencils in the form of a travel-friendly duo. The smooth shea-butter complex moisturizes and coats lips with saturated, glossy color, in two high-energy shades.
The color was just too bright for me, I don't typically wear lipstick and the pink was too much for me to try out. I tried it at home and it did stay on for awhile which would be a plus. Just wasn't a fan of it on me.2
Okay, the standout here is the bright pink of the Lambchop color. It fits right in with the pops of color and neons that are big right now. I liked it, but for me it's like a statement necklace--I have to make a conscious choice to make it part of my outfit.
The crayon-style application is nice since I find it more forgiving and easier to apply than sticks or brushes. It doesn't withstand a full morning of coffee sipping, though.
This color is something from the Mad Men days. I looked like a blast from the past. But the color did last all day, I'll give them that. A more natural shade would be perfect.2
This lipstick was super soft, with an awesome pigment. Beware girls that aren't fans of brights, this was super bold for me. I love how it acts as a lip balm as well as a super thick color.5
The color is a little too bold for me but by smoothing only I little on I actually liked it. It's really smooth so I like mixing it with another neutral lipstick to get it to a shade I'm more used to. Overall I do like the product and it'll last me a while because a little goes a long way.4
I received the fuschia color versus the bubble pink that I think I would have chosen in the store but did enjoy it. I am not a lipstick wearer but did really like this lip color and the texture felt really moisturizing as well.4
I loved this color soo much because it is a dupe for a lipstick I had and I couldnt find it anymore...the pencil is so much better that the lipstick tubes.....Great product and Brand.5
Love this product! It goes on like a smooth lipstick and doesn't "bleed" and creep out of your lip line like some lipsticks. Stays on all day without making lips sticky or dried out.5
i got this in my birch box and love the bright fun color. i use it very lightly and then top it with a more muted gloss for a casual look and go for the full on bright pink on a fun night out.5
I do not wear a lot of lipstick or lipgloss. At the most, I throw on some Chapstick and call it a day. However, this little lip pencil I got in my Birchbox is making me reconsider. It's very bright, but can be toned down with a lot of blotting. Most of all, it's about as easy to apply as chapstick (just need to actually use a mirror). I received Pinkman, which I thought would be too much for me, but the color was perfect for my olive skin. Enhanced lips, but not overdone. Great product!4
