While ‘wash and wear’ is fine and dandy for some, curly hair girls know that it takes a bit more effort to get gorgeous hair every day. To that end, Ouidad’s Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel is a lifesaver, with a unique formula that responds (read: defrizzes) to humidity. We love how the formula tames frizz and coaxes unruly curls into shape without leaving them crunchy.
I have frizzy hair that is also colored. When I used it on my natural curls it left my hair with a crunchy texture. I could brush it out but then it pulled my curls out too.2
I have wanted to try Quidad products for years, I was so disappointed. My curls turned into one big frizzy mess. There was no hold or control with this gel. The gel is very thin and runny, but it smells great.2
Didn't do much for my curls, and in fact it made my hair a bit less curly. did make my hair less frizzy thiugh2
I live in the Midwest which means it is HUMID! I was excited to be surprised with this product because I figured it would be perfect for me. However, the first time I used it I only felt like it was weighing my hair down and it made it feel greasy. Didn't love it!2
I have thick hair and I used it on vacation thinking it would prevent frizziness and it did not.2
This did not work for my curls at all. It left my hair feeling weird and definitely did not stand up to the humidity. And I'm not even in the South anymore! I won't be purchasing this one.2
Product was very watery and runny which wasn't what I was expecting. It was kind of hard to put it in my hair and keep it evenly applied.2
I have very frizzy unruly curly hair. I used this yesterday and did not like the result. I'm going to try it again and see if maybe I applied to much.2
I use a little dab of hair gel on my curls each time I wash. Today was humid and slightly rainy so I decided to put this one to the test - it's a no on helping with humidity. a hard no. In fact my regular gel does a much better job. It held my curls okay, didn't make them stiff (the best thing) and the consistency was cool, but it fails on the point it advertises.2
I have very very thick hair and usually have trouble finding a product that will enhance my curls since products tend to weigh my hair down. Unfortunately, I did not find success, the product made my hair feel very sticky and heavy which is not easy to manage.2
