While ‘wash and wear’ is fine and dandy for some, curly hair girls know that it takes a bit more effort to get gorgeous hair every day. To that end, Ouidad’s Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel is a lifesaver, with a unique formula that responds (read: defrizzes) to humidity. We love how the formula tames frizz and coaxes unruly curls into shape without leaving them crunchy.
I wasn't too impressed with this product. I have wavy/curly hair and it didn't work well with my hair. After putting the product in, my hair as still frizzy. I ended up also putting in my normal bumble and bumble curling product to help tame my curls.2
Product is too sticky and weighs down and makes my curls too stiff2
i was super excited to try this.. i have naturally wavy hair and i love trying things that define them. this sold me short. it honestly didn't seem to do much of anything.2
I was excited to try this product because I really struggle with my curly hair. Unfortunately this product did nothing for my hair. It's like I didn't even put anything in it! Once dried my hair was still super frizzy and my curls weren't very defined. I get better results just letting it air dry :(2
This product left me less than impressed...! Applied to my damp hair and then blow dried with a diffuser, but my curls were not enhanced by this product at all. Not something that I would purchase...2
I used this with the Ouidad curling souflee and they worked well together. I have 3c and 4a hair and it gave me really good curl definition the first day, but the next day my hair felt dry.2
Since my hair is not curly at all, I let my mom use this sample. Her hair is thick, frizzy, and wavy. While blowdrying her hair she put this product in and it eased the frizziness, but wasn't anything out of the ordinary. I think this product is meant more to tame super curly hair2
This product does not work well for my hair. The slippery, greasy texture weighs my hair down and is hard to wash off my hands. I find it builds up and weighs my curl down over time.2
I wanted to love this product because there is a severe lack of quality hair products for people with curly strands. But I've tried this product a handful of times and it just doesn't work for me. My hair is pretty thin and my curls aren't that frizzy to begin with but I still appreciate a product that touts it's defrizzing abilities. Since my hair isn't that frizzy I do put my hands through it often and move it around. With this product, every time I touch my hair after it has dried it flakes on me and I'm left with white residue. This just doesn't work for me, I'm a brunette.2
My curly hair usually works great after I put some curl creme in it (Miss Jessie's is my current favorite), but my hair always acts awful and frizzy with this product. Even when I combine it with hair spray and smoothing serum. My hair inevitably ends up in a ponytail after 1 hour.2
