While ‘wash and wear’ is fine and dandy for some, curly hair girls know that it takes a bit more effort to get gorgeous hair every day. To that end, Ouidad’s Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel is a lifesaver, with a unique formula that responds (read: defrizzes) to humidity. We love how the formula tames frizz and coaxes unruly curls into shape without leaving them crunchy.
I've used Ouidad in the past and really liked how my curls came out. I just recently found a brand called Eufora and have been hooked on them. The product is green and my curls are really manageable and soft.4
It definitely does what it says it does, but come to find out i like the friz in my hair. Without it my hair isn't big and fluffy. I'm going to give it a try with straight hair. I think it will work out better for that.3
I have really curly, really frizzy hair. Most products aren't strong enough to tame the frizz, and those that are make my hair "crunchy". Ouidad Climate Control..Gel was a pretty good product. My hair had nice curls and was not crunchy. I'm very active and so the frizz control didn't last all day, but most products don't work all day for me anyway. I liked it enough to buy a regular size bottle from Birchbox, and now I'm interested in trying other Ouidad products.4
I did like it, but I have another I use regularly that I like even more.4
I have tried this product numerous times and I didn't achieve the degree of frizz control I was looking for. I does make my hair a little softer, but nothing to scream about.2
This gel just didn't stand out to me. I liked the texture of it but it didn't work well with my hair.2
My hair definitely isn't curly, but I figured I'd give this a try anyway. My hair isn't really straight either, but not wavy enough to be wavy... That in between I like to call "straivy"... I was hoping this would help smooth and hold the waves I do have, but it didn't... It didn't seem to make much difference to my hair at all. I'll probably give it another try sometime, but I doubt if the results will be different. Oh well. Thanks!2
I *just* had a Brazillian Blowout, so I'm not actually a frizzy girl at the moment (happy dance!). I have not yet tried this sample, as I don't want to mess with my hair routine right now. I'll try it in a few months when my treatment wears off. Liking the idea though, and I hadn't heard of this comapny before, so it was a good introduction; just bad timing. That aside, I was not impressed with the presentation of this sample. I have really thick hair and this is just not enough product to make an impression. The cardboard looked cheap and I think a bottle would have been much better packaging.3
I loved their instructions to "rake & shake" with the product. Very ingenious. Although I do have to admit that I have a go-to humidity defying, curl enhancing product. I would say this would be a close second, but I really shy away from products that make my hair end up crunchy. Maybe I just need more practice with this one....4
My hair is mostly straight with a slight wave, but the top layer does get frizzy. I thought this product helped tame the frizz a little, but I think my Morrocan Hair Oil works better for that purpose.4
