While ‘wash and wear’ is fine and dandy for some, curly hair girls know that it takes a bit more effort to get gorgeous hair every day. To that end, Ouidad’s Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel is a lifesaver, with a unique formula that responds (read: defrizzes) to humidity. We love how the formula tames frizz and coaxes unruly curls into shape without leaving them crunchy.
I really liked this gel. But it's been discontinued! Boo!!!4
I liked this product but not sure yet if I will purchase it.4
This gel is ok. I did see much less frizz when using this gel, but it's so lightweight that it barely holds my curls -- it doesn't define them and make my hair lay the way I like it. I do want to try this product again in the summer and see if it works out better for me then... but I need much heavier products in winter. This gel has trouble working over the creams and oils that I use to keep my hair hydrated during colder seasons3
The size of this shampoo was amazing!! I was super happy with my sample5
I have always used a mousse or gel for my curls and hates the crunchy texture. I love this product because it helps define curls, hair is soft and doesn't weigh your hair down5
I have shoulder length loose curly hair. I Have issues with frizz like crazy when I leave it curly (I usually end up pulling my hair up half way through the day). So when I used this product I was prepared for the worst. I used this right after the shower with some argon oil and sea salt spray and not only did it tame my frizz it helped keep the volume more than usual. I am very happy with this product and definitely will be buying a full size later on.5
I love the brand quidad but this product is not their best. My hair in general doesn't do well with gel type products2
This is going to be a savior for me in the summer season. My hair can get super crazy, and this will do just the job. I apply it when my hair is almost dry but still damp, and that helps shape my curls for a frizz free style.4
I tried this product on my straight hair, and it seems to be a nice gel but its made for curly hair, smells nice, pretty liquid, not for thin straight hair3
A great curly hair gel- not super thick or sticky, will leave hair crunchy if applied to soaking wet hair, but after it dries finger combing will remove the crunchy-ness and no white flakes or residue is left behind. I'm normally a curl cream type of girl but this is my new fav gel5
