While we don’t all necessarily have a green thumb, we’re all familiar with the discomfort that comes with dry hands. Luckily, there’s Le Couvent des Minimes’ rich Gardener’s Hand Healer, designed with gardeners and DIY enthusiasts in mind, but intended for anyone seeking some much-needed TLC for her digits. The cream nourishes hands, healing dry and damaged skin. It also acts as an invisible glove, shielding against further cracking and chapping.
This is hands down (pun intended) the best hand lotion I've ever used. It's so perfect for those long winter days when it seems like your skin is always dry and cracked... but just a dab of Gardener's Hand Healer and you feel brand new! The smell is fantastic, too, which is just icing on the cake.5
I liked the consistency of this cream. Really small though I wish the samples would be a bit bigger. I didn't particularly love the scent something citrusy would have been nice instead.3
To be fair I don't mean it smells like a poisonous chemical brand, I mean an herbal essential oil kind of repellant. Lemongrass or something. It's not bad but it is very strong at first. It did make my hands feel amazing. The texture was creamy and oily, which sounds weird but surprisingly the makers here have perfected this. Anyway, I give it high marks for texture, absorption and the peace of mind that my hands are safe from mosquitos. It loses points for the first aromatic hour after use.3
Leaves my hands feeling soft and supple. Loved it so much I've considered buying it and giving it to friends.5
However this is not the scent I would have choosen - gave it to my sister who rants about it though3
Seriously the best hand cream ever. And I've tried many. This one is thick, but not greasy. It smells nice and not too strong. A little goes a long way and plus is perfect size for travel. It will always be in my bag!5
It's effective, it really does smooth your hands, isn't greasy or heavy, and the fresh smell is so lovely and refreshing. This is now a mainstay in my purse.5
By far my favorite hand cream. Love the smell and how thick this product is without being greesy. I use this between manicures to keep my cuticles in check... especially during colder months when my skin is dry. It's alos great for parts of your skin that tend to be chronically dry, such as elbows. I would absolutely reccomend this product to anyone!5
I love this hand cream. It is thick and great for the winter months when hands and feet dry out.5
The Gardener's Hand Healer smells great, absorbs easily, and really moisturizes quickly. It's great on my hands and elbows. It doesn't leave any sticky feeling but its effects do feel long lasting. I also really like that it doesn't feel waxy. I keep it at my desk and put it on and go back to pounding away on my keyboard, without hesitating.5
