While we don’t all necessarily have a green thumb, we’re all familiar with the discomfort that comes with dry hands. Luckily, there’s Le Couvent des Minimes’ rich Gardener’s Hand Healer, designed with gardeners and DIY enthusiasts in mind, but intended for anyone seeking some much-needed TLC for her digits. The cream nourishes hands, healing dry and damaged skin. It also acts as an invisible glove, shielding against further cracking and chapping.
Although this product does help with healing dry hands, I just can't bring myself to love it. I threw it in my makeup bag that I bring with me everywhere because as the weather gets cooler, I figured it would be useful, but I just can't get passed the scent and the texture. It makes my hands feel kind of sticky and the smell is off like it's supposed to be floral but there's something else, too.2
Although it makes my hands feel amazing, it's really hard to get over the smell if you don't like that super herbal scent.2
Smells good, a little goes a long way.. It's a thick cream but not too thick.. Perfect consistantcy. Very hydrating As a hand cream. I think it is priced just right for the quality :)3
I liked the smell, but I didn't think it moisturized very well. I will have to try a different hand cream.3
This did not help my dry winter skin. I used it after washing my hands only to see about hour later dry and white skin. May work more for a spring summer lotion.3
This cream is nice, but I am REALLY picky about hand creams. I tend to only like the ones that contain both silicone and shea butter. On top of that, they have to be very moisturizing but they can't be greasy. This one was soft and not greasy, but somehow it felt like the moisturizer didn't really penetrate my skin very well. I'm not sure why, but I feel this way about a lot of moisturizers! Anyway, I am also not crazy about the scent. It is soft and faintly floral/musky. It's inoffensive, but it's just not for me (then again, I am SUPER picky about scents in my creams too).3
Nice and creamy. Smells great. not oily small bottle. Smells lemony and a little herbal. Will be great for winter!4
The consistency of this hand cream provides much needed hydration for dry hands. A little bit goes a long way but it is costly.4
I love this hand cream. It isn't heavy but isn't too thin either. It is the perfect texture. It doesn't sit in the insides of your fingers like some hand creams do for me. It glides on well and has a very light clean scent. I could use this everyday and I would still love it every time.4
Nice scent great texture. Perfect car cream for when my hands are dry. This winter has been wicked dry. Love the scent too4
