Made from natural and organic ingredients, this water-resistant SPF 30 sunscreen is strong enough for gung-ho athletes, yet natural enough for the pickiest of skincare purists. It provides 80 minutes of water and sweat resistance, deep hydration, and a dose of skin-friendly vitamins and antioxidants. Bonus: It’s suitable for all skin types.
This works incredibly well. The only negative is that it turns you very white and you really have to scrub hard at night to get the white residue off.4
If you are looking for a sunscreen with great coverage and ease of application, then this is a great product. I noticed that when I first applied the cream it is a bit on the white side, but that helped me see exactly where I was applying the product. This whitish shade quickly disappears as it is rubbed in. I am very fair and I stayed out by our pool this weekend for much longer than I probably should have, but I did not even get red. I skin stayed nice and moist though out the time that I was out in the sun. I had no burning or irritation from the product, which is a real plus, since I am sensitive to sunscreens, especially on my face. I would recommend this product to others!4
I've been using this product for over a year now and love it. I rarely purchase something twice and this is at least bottle #3. Its a physical sunscreen so it doesn't have tons of chemicals in it and it also nourishes my skin and makes it look more even. I live in the desert so daily spf is a must and I would highly recommend this product.5
I am photo-allergic to chemical sunscreens which has made it very frustrating to protect my skin without looking like a stick of chalk. I am limited in the SPF ingredients I can use; only zinc and titanium dioxide. I don't feel like there is enough research on the use of titanium dioxide, and for both ingredients, I don't trust the human or environmental safety of the nano sized particles that are commonly used. Nano sized particles are effective SPF protection and also blend into your skin invisibly, but I don't want them in my blood or water stream. I have spent so much time and $$$ trying different non-nano zinc and titanium based products that ended up being hard to rub in and left me with a noticeable white cast. Then enters juice beauty. I tried their SPF moisturizer with success and when I saw they had a sport version I was sold! Blends and rubs in easily with a scent my friends constantly tell me smells distinctly like fruity pebbles. It is a bit thick and ever so slightly could be described as greasy, but that is a fair compromise for me since the higher tech matte sunscreens and sprays are not an option. My only caveat would be its lack of antioxidants, which are important in all sunscreens but especially mineral formulas. Otherwise, it is near perfect and on par price wise with other natural mineral sunscreens.
Note: I would NOT recommend this for your face, too thick and too many oils, but for everywhere else it is great!
This takes some effort to rib in to the skin but you know it's there and it really does work! Con is you have a sight purple hue to your skin for a bit after you apply but for me it's worth it for the great protection5
As other reviewers noted, the sunscreen leaves a slight whitish residue but that's the nature of physical sunblock. It's also far less than I've experienced with other physical sunscreens.
This formula is phenomenally water resistant too. (I can see sweat/water bead up on it!)
I don't care for the smell but LOVE the feeling of the lotion. It absorbs well & blocks the sun. I probably will buy it again but wish they would come up with a new scent.4
I used this on a trip to Mexico and really liked it. Reapplied per directions and didn't get a sunburn. Still got a sun tan which was awesome too! Some sunscreens have a tendency to make my skin breakout too. Juice Beauty's did not.4
For someone who is outside a lot and sweets so much, this is my favorite. It smells great, feels great, and does the job no matter what my face is doing!5
Why does this say moisturizer on the bottle and in the title when what you receive is actually sunscreen? Very misleading. I don't need organic sunscreen. I wanted a moisturizer. Very disappointed.1
