Made from natural and organic ingredients, this water-resistant SPF 30 sunscreen is strong enough for gung-ho athletes, yet natural enough for the pickiest of skincare purists. It provides 80 minutes of water and sweat resistance, deep hydration, and a dose of skin-friendly vitamins and antioxidants. Bonus: It’s suitable for all skin types.
This takes some effort to rib in to the skin but you know it's there and it really does work! Con is you have a sight purple hue to your skin for a bit after you apply but for me it's worth it for the great protection5
As other reviewers noted, the sunscreen leaves a slight whitish residue but that's the nature of physical sunblock. It's also far less than I've experienced with other physical sunscreens.
This formula is phenomenally water resistant too. (I can see sweat/water bead up on it!)
For someone who is outside a lot and sweets so much, this is my favorite. It smells great, feels great, and does the job no matter what my face is doing!5
I am a very picky skin purist, so I love that this product has no filler ingredients and is all organic. The price tag is much lower than many other organic products. I have very acne prone skin and it has not made me break out.5
First I love the smell of this stuff, it smells like healthy good stuff. I use this when I ride my bike, it does not melt off in Texas heat. Heavy feeling but goes on smooth with exceptional SPF protection.5
I bought this for a beach vacation and the bottle lasted almost the entire 5 day trip. It's a bit thick but lasts. Doesn't leave a whitish tinge (which is very common with physical sunscreens). The slight tint to it also blended perfectly with my natural light toned skin color. I never burned and it was as water resistance as it says. My skin was hydrated and felt great- not dried out after spending a week in the sun and salt water. Will be buying again for my next trip!5
I've been searching for a daily sunscreen for ages. I was looking for something organic that provides a physical block rather than chemical, but I've tried so many! Most of them made me break out, or left my skin really oily looking by lunch (I have oily, acne prone skin). Then I decided to take a chance on this stuff, even though I didn't care for the regular Juice Beauty daily moisturizer with SPF. I was hesitant because of the reviews, but found some good reviews on other sites. I'm so glad I took the chance! It is thick and looks a little shiny on my skin at first, but rubs in with very little effort and then sets to a very nice finish, not really matte but not too satiny, and my skin doesn't get too oily as the day wears on. There is a slight tint that isn't noticeable on my light skin, but manages to make my skin look more even and more flawless. And so far, no breakouts! I've worn it running in the sun: it didn't melt off and I didn't get a sunburn. Not sure if this will work for everyone, but I'm SO glad it works for me and I intend to purchase over and over again!5
I don't care for the smell but LOVE the feeling of the lotion. It absorbs well & blocks the sun. I probably will buy it again but wish they would come up with a new scent.4
I used this on a trip to Mexico and really liked it. Reapplied per directions and didn't get a sunburn. Still got a sun tan which was awesome too! Some sunscreens have a tendency to make my skin breakout too. Juice Beauty's did not.4
I have been searching for a great sunscreen with no cancer-causing, hormone-interrupting ingredients and let me tell you, it is hard to find! So after hours of reading ingredient lists I decided to try this which has ONLY zinc oxide as it's active ingredient. And what makes it even more wonderful is that I can use it on my face! I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and so easily get rashes and burning from products, but not with this. It smells nice, absorbs well, and doesn't feel or look chalky. The only (very small) issue is it does stay a bit "creamy" on the face so when I use it I put a mineral powder foundation on over it as opposed to a liquid or BB cream foundation. I also love that it's a 30 SPF which is higher than the 15 SPF I was previously using.4
