When the weather outside is frightful (and even when it’s not), this box has all of the essentials to keep you feeling cozy, pampered, and, we’ll admit, a wee bit nostalgic for your snowsuit days. So go ahead—slip on some comfy socks, break out the board games, and thank goodness for central heating. A $105 value!
I was really excited about the Snow Day box. I actually waited until our first snow fall to open it. There are a lot of interesting products, but I immediately was turned off by the smell of the cannabis candle and the socks were a funky purple and orange color. Maybe it's just me, but when I think of a cozy snow day, I imagine sweet smells, like vanilla, and cozy light, white socks. I haven't tried the hot cocoa with the cinnamon marshmallows, hopefully will this weekend, but overall, the smell was too much and it took away from the joy of it all. No worries, I have loved every other Birchbox item I've tried, and I've tried a lot.1
The socks were very boyish, the candle did not smell good and it was supposed to be peppermint lip balm and it's not. This was supposed to be a gift but ugly socks and a stinky candle don't quite say merry Christmas.....1
I was really excited about this... until I opened it. The socks I got are not cute. The hot cocoa does not taste good and tastes even worse with the marshmallows in it. The scrabble board is tiny. Overall, the products have cute packaging but are disappointing in quality. I also wish the Chantecaille products would have included information and instructions. I loved last year's special edition box way more.2
I loved the sock, candle and chapstick. The scrabble game was much too small for my hands and eyes.
I don't know when I would use the matches. The samples were nice but too small.
For me, it was not worth $40.
I purchased this as a gift for my sister and she loved the variety of the items in the box. The socks were super cute and the candle smelled fabulous. I almost wished I had purchased one for myself as well!3
Although slightly expensive I bought this for my younger sister as a present. I was disappointed with the cannabis candle - nice to have to explain that to her in front of relatives on Christmas.3
You got a lot for the money, but I didn't like some of the products. The cannabis candle was nasty!! The scrabble board was just ok. I did love the socks!3
I was a bit disappointed in the selection, the candle smelled wonderful, though, it's the first candle my boyfriend has ever liked. The matches are fun for the holidays, when you have a lot of candles to light. The bath and spa stuff I could have taken or left.3
I looked forward to this, with the holidays and possible icy weather here in Texas. I'm a school teacher, so I'd have the days to enjoy such a product. But the contents were rather ordinary. The marshmallows were good, but there are local products just as good (and less expensive). The socks are too tight at the tops, and the Scrabble game only useful is one is going to grandma's house. If I'm stuck at home, why not use my full-size game. I don't have a bathtub, so the soak is useless. I see it's sold out, and I guess many were curious; it also has about four stars, so there are many who were more impressed than I.3
so cute! I got this for my best friend who lives in a small mountain town hoping that it would bring her a few smiles and needless to say it's adorable packed up (I only added a card), smells great and has some cute little idea cards included to make the most of all of the goodies!3
