These shimmering shades give us a hankering for ripe, sweet berries, and for good reason: The skin-nourishing formula blends two of our favorite organic superfoods, acai and goji berries, with a sugary scent that comes from agave. Natural mineral reflectors add sparkle with a subtle wash of color.
I bought this based on the fact that "reflecting" is in the name of the product, but it I find it neither reflecting nor even glossy. The product also feels kind of sticky or gloppy even when very first applied. And lastly, I got the color "fig" and really dislike it. The product itself looks much more terra cotta-ish, so it's really unflattering. Very disappointed.2
This is a really pretty shade, and it's not gloppy nor does it dry out my lips, but it's a lot lighter in tone than I expected. I was looking something with more of a brown tinge.3
I love the concept behind natural makeup and am always willing to try companies that use natural ingredients in their products. This was a bit of a miss for me, however, because of the weird consistency of the gloss. It was thin and oily, and felt like it was melting off my lips. The subtle hue of the "pink" color and the scent was very nice, but not hard to find in a different brand. Got this as a sample in my Birchbox so it was great to try it out, but am glad I didn't pay full price for it because I don't use it.3
I bought the full-size in "Fig" as I loved the color and wanted to spend my points! I had similar issues with this that I've had with other organic all-natural glosses, in that the texture is kind of oily/slippery. Too thin, needing to be just a bit more goopy. The lasting power is basically nil. On the plus side, the color is lovely, and it smells great. It doesn't dry my lips out, and it's definitely not goopy- so if you hate thick, goopy lip glosses you might love this! For me, it's just a bit too thin of a formula...so close, but no cigar!3
When I got this I immediately swatched it on my hand and it looked fantastic- glossy, opaque/ true color, smell was aweomse- I was psyched. However, on my lips, it was more of a light color and the texture was so light it wore off quickly. Plus, it didn't seem to mousirize much. I think I'll stick with my Chanel/ Revlon/ Bobbi Brown glosses.3
For almost a year I have been oogling Juice Beauty Reflecting Gloss in a swapping group that I am a member. When months upon months passed when I was unable to trade for it, I decided to purchase it through the birchbox website when I saw that Birchbox distributed it. Beautiful color! I bought mine in Fig, a medium brownish nude, I believe. It has such a great appealing scent. I would definitely purchase this gloss again, but in Champagne. I highly recommend this specific lip gloss.4
This lip gloss is cramy and has a nice sheen---not overly glossy. It feels good on my lips and the muted shades are a good choice for me. I like its ease of application. The organic base is appealing. The only drawback is the slightly odor which isn't great.4
This is a nice light shimmery gloss. The scent is light, slightly sweet and fruity, nothing overpowering. And the weight of gloss is just right, very light. Will purchase again.4
I like the gloss color and texture - it was not too sticky. Also, the smell was pleasant and unexpected. A lot goes a long way and it lasted for hours.4
good color, texture, doesnt last but what lip gloss last hours? its good for the price and the fact that is organic.4
