A favorite of fashion bloggers, off-duty models, and the rest of us on the hunt for an easy weekend look, the ubiquitous topknot shows no signs of abating. But much like winning a round of Candy Crush Saga, the seemingly simple do can be tricky to master. With this plight in mind, hair genius Sarah Potempa created The WRAP UP, a nifty tool that helps you score the perfect topknot, sleek chignon, or tousled low bun. Made with strong, cushy foam, The WRAP UP secures your updo without the help of a zillion bobby pins. Three hair color-matching options, Black, Brunette, and Blonde, ensure your secret weapon remains a secret.
I must be alone in this, but I've never gotten anything in this genre of products to work for me. I'm sure it's great if it works with your hair, but be aware it doesn't with everyone's.1
I have really long hair and tried to use this to make a bun -- it just looks messy and not at all polished. the idea is nice, but a sock works much better.3
This thing is awesome. I have not been able to master the sock bun with out little bits of my hair sticking out everywhere or it not feeling tight or secure enough. With this thing, I can do whatever I want and my hair doesnt budge :)5
I love this. It is just really handy to have. I have super long, really thick hair. I wish it was a little sturdier. It tends to sag if I wear it longer than an hour or so just because my hair is so heavy.4
I keep getting to use this in my long hair. Unfortunately, I can't get my hair to completely cover it and part of it is always exposed. I have a ton of hair so I'm not sure why this is happening. I just need to keep playing with it.3
I like that this helps to create a fun and easy bun! I do, however, have a hard time getting it to wrap up all of my hair - some still falls out underneath and needs to be pinned back in a lot.4
Such a great accessory for girls with long hair. Makes the bun easy as putting in a ponytail. Bought this after I got the half up in my box!5
At first I was not sure about this odd looking thing, but once I followed the directions my shapeless hair was transformed into a cool, surfer chick, ballerinaesque, chic topknot. What a way to roll out of bed and not mess with my hair!4
I've been trying to get in on this cute bun action... but I just don't think I have enough hair for the WRAP UP. The concept of this is great. But if your hair doesn't go lower than your shoulders and is fine like mine, don't get it. My hair didn't really cover it up completely and looked weird. 3 stars because I think this will work with long hair.3
I've used socks, bobby pins, teasing, hair donut, etc. and this is by far the easiest tool. It looks great every time. I can make it nice and neat or messy cute. Super fun to mess around with and super easy to use.5
