A favorite of fashion bloggers, off-duty models, and the rest of us on the hunt for an easy weekend look, the ubiquitous topknot shows no signs of abating. But much like winning a round of Candy Crush Saga, the seemingly simple do can be tricky to master. With this plight in mind, hair genius Sarah Potempa created The WRAP UP, a nifty tool that helps you score the perfect topknot, sleek chignon, or tousled low bun. Made with strong, cushy foam, The WRAP UP secures your updo without the help of a zillion bobby pins. Three hair color-matching options, Black, Brunette, and Blonde, ensure your secret weapon remains a secret.
This actually is easy to use and does the job. My bun seriously looked really good on the first try!5
I like this hair product. It holds my hair in a perfect bun for work if I don't have time to straighten it. I hope that it ends up being durable because it is great to have on hand.4
Created a perfect bun! I have really long hair so I usually have to use several Bobbie pens when putting my hair in a bun. But now, I just follow the directions and in less than five minutes, I have the perfect bun. It can be messy, slicked down with lots of hair spray. It can be made to look gigantic or rather small depending on how tight I make the bun. This product rocks!5
I really wanted for this product to work and hoped based on the reviews and marketing (for all hair types!) that it would. Within two seconds of getting my hair wrapped around the tool, it popped back open. My mane is just too wild for The WRAP Up to tame. : ( I guess I'll be living the topknot free life or just continue attempting makeshift versions!2
This product works so well for when I am too lazy in the morning to do my long , thick hair. Sometimes the thickness of my hair is too heavy for it, so some bobby pins are necessary to keep it from sagging down. So much easier than any sock bun maker I have used.5
so, i'm the first person to tell you that a) my hair is super long, thick, coarse, and curly and also b) i have no idea what to do with it like, 99.99999 percent of the time. this gadget ended up being perfect for throwing my second-day straightened hair up into a pretty rad bun that, after watching tutorials, was pretty easy to do. and it stayed! i'm pretty in love with this thing.5
I was so excited to get this item and put it to use right away. I have shoulder length medium thick hair. I love using it at night with a little texturizing spray to give me great waves when I wake up. However, after using this less than a dozen times the metal has snapped inside the foam cover. It has broken and now there are sharp pieces poking out making it unusable. Big bummer since I really liked it.1
It is great for an easy updo, but I have to say I do not love this. It does not seem to hold well in the back, so my hair falls by the middle of the day. You definitely will need bobby pins with this.3
I love this tool. I have had a donut to make buns in my hair, but I felt like I could never get my hair to look just right. This lets me have a perfectly polish bun or a more-fun, relaxed look. Super easy to use!5
I can't quite figure this out. And it comes with a card that gives you a step by step instruction. I guess your hair has to be one length.2
