We fully appreciate when a brand tells it like it is. This Is a Sea Salt Spray is, you guessed it, a sea salt spray. But we're thinking they may want to tweak the name slightly—something more along the lines of This Is a Life-Changing Sea Salt Spray. Hair is left looking perfectly imperfect, full of sexy post-beach texture and volume. Better yet, this spray is paraben-free and moisturizes hair to boot.
When I got this product I was very excited, the idea of sea salt spray made me feel luxurious. My sister worked in a beauty salon and she told me that this product in particular was more suited for curly or wavy hair. I decided to try it anyways, and it smelled so delicious. It smelled like the ocean with a hint of vanilla. I did apply it after getting out of the shower with my wet hair, but it did make it very sticky as it dried. I would run my fingers through my hair during the day (a must when you have long hair and it's windy out) and my hands would feel sticky and chalky. I think for someone with curly or wavy hair it wouldn't be as bad, but it just felt like I sprayed hairspray all over my head. Not worth it for me.3
this is an amazing smelling product and super light.5
Great product! It smelled absolutely amazing!!! Love it!5
I really like how my hair smells when I use this product. It also adds body without making my hair crunchy.4
Love the texture this gave to my naturally curly but long and thick hair. Truly effortless style!5
I have super straight hair and nothing ever works including this, to change that. Seems like it would work for someone else though2
I have naturally wavy hair, but its also very frizzy which is why i usually straighten it. I decided to try to this spray and see if it would get rid of the frizz. I can say that my hair is less frizzy and more wavy but since i had to let my hair air dry its a little crazy looking and isn't laying right.4
This doesn't just texturize -- it pumped up my usually limp, lifeless hair. Lasted all day - didn't even have to reapply before going out at night (for which it was perfect). A lot of sea salt sprays have a tacky, dirty finish on your scalp, and although you can definitely feel the product in your hair, it isn't bothersome.5
Seat Salt Spray has become a staple of my hair routine, so I was excited to try this, then bummed once I had because it really frizzed out my hair. Usually, the product weighs enough to keep that from happening, but not so with this. It smells lovely and didn't dry out my hair, which means I could recommend it to anyone who does NOT have a problem with frizz. If you do, then I'd find something else - Octavio's La Playa works great and so does John Frieda's Beach Blonde Spray (if you're looking for something more economical).3
This product makes my hair feel extremely dry and I can't even run my fingers through my hair after using it. It does smell good though.
