We fully appreciate when a brand tells it like it is. This Is a Sea Salt Spray is, you guessed it, a sea salt spray. But we're thinking they may want to tweak the name slightly—something more along the lines of This Is a Life-Changing Sea Salt Spray. Hair is left looking perfectly imperfect, full of sexy post-beach texture and volume. Better yet, this spray is paraben-free and moisturizes hair to boot.
This is amazing stuff! And to get a full size product was so great & unexpected. The smell is really nice & leaves just enough texture. This will last me a long time.5
I've never used a salt spray before, but this was great for adding volume to my hair without making it greasy. I have stick straight hair, so I just sprayed it on my dry, flat hair and teased it up a little w/ my fingers and it looked great. Also, smells AMAZING - like coconut and beach and heaven. I'll probably end up using it tons just because of that.5
It smells just like the beach and was perfect on my hair. It gave it nice waves when spraying it on wet hair but didn't get crunchy at all. love it!4
I loved the semi-sweet vanilla smell from the mist but I don't think it was very effective. I have long, thing, straight hair and the sea salt spray didn't really bring out any "natural waves". I also spritzed it while my hair was dry and I didn't notice any volumizing effects either! It is probably better for people with naturally wavy hair but I won't be buying this product any time soon.3
This seems like a nice product, just not great for curly hair. I try to keep my hair as smooth and shiny as possible, this seemed counterproductive.3
I liked the idea and smell of the product, but when I used it I noticed no change except my hair seemed dry. Maybe because I already have curly hair it was not effective. I don't know.3
Smells like a day at the beach, provided ample, soft volume, and didn't leave my hair feeling sticky at all. Only downside is that half of the bottle leaked into the box.5
This stuff smells like cupcake icing! It's amazing... i use it on my hair when it's dry and I just scrunch it a bit and let it work its magic.
I've read a lot about "beach hair" styling products recently, but this generous sample is the first one I've tried. It has an unusual fragrance - I'd call it more reminiscent of a sweet pastry than a Beach smell, though! I have very fine, color-treated hair that tends to either go flat or fizzy in the humid weather. I sprayed this on this morning and my hair definitely looks and feels fuller - I think I have a new hair fave - thanks for introducing us, Birchbox!5
I have very fine, straight hair. It doesn't curl worth a darn. So the sea sprays usually don't add in much in the way of waves for me. But it did add some great texture and volume to my hair, which I loved. And it doesn't weigh my hair down or make it look like there's product in it.4
