We fully appreciate when a brand tells it like it is. This Is a Sea Salt Spray is, you guessed it, a sea salt spray. But we're thinking they may want to tweak the name slightly—something more along the lines of This Is a Life-Changing Sea Salt Spray. Hair is left looking perfectly imperfect, full of sexy post-beach texture and volume. Better yet, this spray is paraben-free and moisturizes hair to boot.
I love sea salt sprays and the texture it leaves your hair with but this one just didn't wok well on me. Smells pretty nice but it just left my hair feeling gritty (and not in a good beauty kinda way) sticky, and stiff (like I had sprayed hair spray in but I didn't).2
I'm a little iffy on how to use this, but it still gave me volume and waves.4
great scent and i thought the packaging was great, but it made my hair feel like i just got out of a pool! sticky and dry like it needed extra moisturizer. almost felt like straw.3
to say I like this product is an understatement.
I friggin love this thing, it smells amazing to me - sort of sweet and fresh.
People compliment how my hair looks whenever I use this - and I don't ever do anything to my hair. I'm scared to run out of this and not be able to live without it. I'm addicted now.
My hair is super thin and fine and stuck straight, this does great things for my hair. Added a little wave but really gave me some good volume.5
I don't wear my hair in a style like the beach or wear it messy so this product wasnt something I'd normally try. Also, I don't think it smells like the beach at all. It smells like vanilla. Or cooking vanilla. Leaves a messy feeling in your hair. Not a fan.3
This spray had a beachy scent and soft hold, but it wasn't exactly for me. I already have wavy/curly textured hair, so this just added a roughness that I didn't like.3
I have super fine hair and, without this salt spray, my hair won't hold a curl. With this spray, my hair flat-irons/curls beautifully and has some extra body it just doesn't have on it's own.
My only warning: A little goes a LONG way, and it's very easy to use too much (but it's easy to not use enough when you're trying to be conservative, too). I find that 3 sprays across the end of my hair and 2 sprays on either side of my crown is PLENTY.
I love this stuff!!
I had a product back in the day from Kusko-Murphy called Beach Hair. It was the best texturizer ever. I have not found it's equal. This spray does add volume but was sticky going on and it has this weird sweet scent. It does add volume to my fine hair and my hair feels normal after a few hours.
Cute packaging, really liked the sample size... However I'm not crazy about the product itself. It smells nice but it leaves my hair feeling sticky and isn't that effective at creating waves/curls. I've used much less expensive products that do a better job at creating beachy waves.3
