There’s no law that says you can’t tote around a quart-size container of sunscreen—but there are more compact, less spill-prone alternatives. Like this lip balm-size solid, which offers broad spectrum protection while still fitting into your pocket. It’s concentrated formula is designed to stand up to serious, marathon-in-August sweat.
it's great to have a travel size spf that can be used for face and lips, but I'm not keen on the idea of rubbing chapstick on my face. It's also a bit pricey.1
Out on the lake yesterday, thought it was a perfect opportunity to try out the face stick. Rubbed the stick all over my face. Not doubling back over the coating, mind you, just giving it a once-over in the hot sun.
Then my wife looked at me. "What's on your face?" she said. FAIL..
Maybe it's just me, but I don't know why I'd use sunscreen stick on my face. But then again, I don't usually wear sunscreen on my face.1
This is a decent product, especially with the SPF 30, but it's not really something I see myself using often. Just tried it to try it and it seemed okay.1
I definitely need the sun screen, but I really wasn't a fan of SPF in stick form.2
Works well but for the size of the product the price is a little too much.2
While the idea of this stick is great, it's not nearly wide enough to feel as though you've effectively applied it. I worried that streaking, or missed spots would occur, resulting in some crazed tan lines.2
I have no complaints about this product as a chapstick. I can't imagine smearing chapstick on my face, but I guess if I got desperate I'd put some on my nose. I'd only use this product on my lips, so the price tag seems a little high.2
When I received the sample stick I thought it had to be lip balm. Indeed it was, but it also claims to be for your nose and face. I thought this was a little weird and decided to try it on just my lips first. The product left a weird taste on my lips and I kept having the urge to wipe it off. I never even considered applying to my nose or face after the feeling it gave my lips. Was not for me.2
A face stick? No way. This is chapstick with spf 30. I would love to see someone try and put this on their face! It would feel like you put chapstick all over it. Not impressed at all.2
