You’re a mountain man: You prefer scaling cliffs to the treadmill, and have never heard of spin class. Scrub down with this brawny bar, which contains a slew of hydrating oils like olive, coconut, hemp, and soybean, all blended into a shea butter base. Deeply cleansing and never drying, this soap will leave you smelling as fresh as a forest—and feeling like you could chop wood with your bare hands.
I was excited to try this soap. The smell is great. I am big on smell and it looks very hip (you know all that paraben free, handmade, etc stuff). To my surprise when rubbing it on my body it scrubs(scratches) pretty hard. I guess it would be great for exfoliating. It seemed pretty ruff but not enough to not use it.
I will have to bow out of buying the full size version.. I will give it a few more washes but its not looking that great right now.
As a bar of soap, it works relatively well, but it is not pleasing in any other capacity. I have only used the Pine Tar bar, but it smelled terrible, thus making me smell terrible. It also leaves soap scum (just like every other bar soap) but in this case, it leaves black scum all over my white tub. I wouldn't mind trying other scents, but this one was absolutely not for me.
2This soap was actually quite pleasant smelling and exfoliated well, however I received the black soap which proceeded to run all over my shower leaving gross black soap residue all over. If they changed the color to make it not look like mold all over the shower I would recommend.
2I usually use Dove bar soap, and I really like the way it leaves my skin feeling and smelling. I wasn't crazy about this product. I will probably stick to my Dove soap for now, and maybe use this one once in a while. Good ingredients though if you're worried about the type of things you put on your skin.
