You’re a mountain man: You prefer scaling cliffs to the treadmill, and have never heard of spin class. Scrub down with this brawny bar, which contains a slew of hydrating oils like olive, coconut, hemp, and soybean, all blended into a shea butter base. Deeply cleansing and never drying, this soap will leave you smelling as fresh as a forest—and feeling like you could chop wood with your bare hands.
I mostly only use body washes, but this product may help me transition over to soaps. The scent was pleasant and not overpowering. It also made a decent amount of suds when using a washcloth. However, if you consistently use the same washcloth, the soap will build up in about a week and will become somewhat unpleasant.4
This is such a cool man-scent... but it will take your skin off with the chunks of tree bark inside.5
This is great soap, rinses clean, and leaves you feeling refreshed. It definitely exfoliates when you use it. Be warned it is black soap and will leave black residue where ever you rest it. I would probably buy it if it goes on sale.4
So this was a pretty good soap, it lathered and didn't dry my skin so it did its job. The scent of pine tar is just not my cup of tea.4
Great lather and aroma, an interesting color (black) but this doesn't effect anything. Recommended!5
So for me this is fine soap just to use on my hands but if you try using it on your body it is too sand paper like.3
This stuff is fannnnnnntastic. Almost like using a pumice stone, it's very rough on your skin but I really like that it leaves you feeling super clean. GF also loves the pine tar scent. Will purchase in the future.5
I enjoyed the abrasiveness of this bar soap but was disappointed with the nonexistent lather, the black staining color and lackluster pine smell.3
I don't typically love bar soaps as they can be messy and such, but the smell and texture of this soap won me over.4
As a bar of soap, it works relatively well, but it is not pleasing in any other capacity. I have only used the Pine Tar bar, but it smelled terrible, thus making me smell terrible. It also leaves soap scum (just like every other bar soap) but in this case, it leaves black scum all over my white tub. I wouldn't mind trying other scents, but this one was absolutely not for me.2
