You’re a mountain man: You prefer scaling cliffs to the treadmill, and have never heard of spin class. Scrub down with this brawny bar, which contains a slew of hydrating oils like olive, coconut, hemp, and soybean, all blended into a shea butter base. Deeply cleansing and never drying, this soap will leave you smelling as fresh as a forest—and feeling like you could chop wood with your bare hands.
I really like the smell of this soap, and it works well -- really lathers up and gets you clean. I use a black charcoal soap, so the grey color of the lather doesn't bother me. The packaging is a little cheesy though -- I wish it was a little classier, instead of jokey, and all the copy about manliness is kind of outdated. But the product itself is great.
5I am not a fan of bar soap, as I prefer body wash. However, I am always open to new products and to making a change in my routine if I find a quality replacement. This is a decent soap. This soap provided a decent lather, and I was left feeling clean. I do not give full marks, however, because the aroma - which is quite nice and very pine-y - is not as strong as I would like, leaving very little scent on my skin. Personally, I like a little more from a product that is scented. Otherwise I would buy unscented. All told, this product does not fit within my personal requirements for a body cleanser.
