You’re a mountain man: You prefer scaling cliffs to the treadmill, and have never heard of spin class. Scrub down with this brawny bar, which contains a slew of hydrating oils like olive, coconut, hemp, and soybean, all blended into a shea butter base. Deeply cleansing and never drying, this soap will leave you smelling as fresh as a forest—and feeling like you could chop wood with your bare hands.
This is a decent bar soap. I didn't expect much and I was pleasantly surprised. Good bar soap4
I have used the Pine Tar and Gold Moss varieties of this soap and loved both. The texture is a little rough, but it is great for cleaning (you might not need a loofah if you just use the bar itself). The scents are really masculine and earthy, and don't linger in an aggressive or overpowering fashion. My skin feels great after use!5
The smell is out of this world! I will say that it tames down once lathered up, but still, wow. My bar of soap came in black, and it's a bit strange trying to cleanse yourself and having black run down your body. It's not the worst soap I've tried, but surely i wont be spending money on this stuff. I think i will just stick to good old fashioned Irish Spring, thanks.3
As far as bar soap goes, this is right up at the top. I REALLY enjoyed the smell. It wasn't too much and it didn't linger. The black was kind of neat too. The exfoliating grains surprised me as they can't be felt before it's used for the first time. For the most part, they felt great. I just didn't scrub the more sensitive parts of my body with it as it would have been a bit too abrasive. This would definitely be my go to after a weekend of camping or hiking. My skin felt a little dry after using it, but that could be just because it was a new soap or my water. I was surprised there wasn't a full bar in the box as the full bar is only $6, which is an awesome price for the quality of the bar. Oh well. this is definitely an item I can see myself buying.4
I was a little worried about using this since the soap is black but I'm so glad I did. It's smells awesome and is right up there with my regular soap when it comes to feeling clean afterwards. Will be purchasing!!4
The scent of the dry bar of soap was overwhelming with pine tar. I thought there was no way that I would want to smell like that but gave it a try anyway. After you lather it up it becomes a rich scent and doesn't overpower your nose with the original rich bouquet. It lasts fairly long it seems, which is also a bonus.4
I felt awake! I felt clean! I loved the lather, I am concerned about it staining my shower, but the smell is just great! I will be buying this and I can faintly smell it hours after using and it makes me feel really clean!5
The Pine Tar soap might be my favorite soap scent ever. I wish I could get that scent in a cologne.5
The smell was overpowering but it was ok! I'm just not a bar soap kind of guy, hard to was the goods with a bar!3
I found this soap to be a little strong in scent and tough to work into a lather. I'm more of a body wash person.3
