We put our hair through a lot each week, from flat irons and tight ponytails to hot weather and pollution. Good thing we’ve found a new secret weapon: This rich, super-nourishing recovery treatment restores shine and bounce to dry, overtaxed hair. Specifically formulated for curly locks but great for all hair types, this creamy treatment helps hair recover from whatever we throw at it. Guess you could say our secret’s out (like we could really keep something like this to ourselves).
I used this for the first time and it took my hair from frizzy and dry to soft and moisturized in the first use. I didn't really notice a smell, so I guess it didn't bother me. I just used the bare minimum to comb through my hair. I put it up in a shower cap for 30 min and it did the trick. A little goes a long way (even for long, thick hair).5
Pretty bummed about how this stuff worked out. It seemed to dry my hair out and leave it more frizzy, and the smell was horrible. If you have curly hair, you know how it can hold smell. My hair would stink like chemicals for a day and a half.1
This product is a great masque for dry hair. I usually leave it in overnight and sleep with my hair in a bun wrapped in a turbine twist. Wash out in the morning and my hair is nice and soft.
While this mask did leave my hair nicely conditioned, smooth and shiny the chemical smell was enough for me to not want to use it again.3
Dang this stuff makes your hair like buttery silk...but you are going to smell like chemicals for a couple of washes after until it fades out..2
I use this deep conditoner over night. I will run the conditoner through my hair before putting it up in a bun to sleep in, and the results are incredible. The smell, however, isn't so amazing. It honestly smells like wet dog. I've started to mix in a little of my normal, good-smelling conditioner with this deep conditioner which helps a little. If you can handle a little odor, it's defininately worth the buy.4
Easy to apply and pleasant scent. It helps my hair recover from the flatironing I do several times a week. Not a perfect product, but a great value.4
I used this a couple times and had to return it. The chemical smell is awful and lingers a long time. It did soften my coarse, thick hair. But, I couldn't handle the smell.1
I love the Miss Jessie's brand and this Rapid Recovery is just what my dry strands needed. It leaves my hair soft and smells great! I use this once a week and am very happy with the outcome after I blow-out my curls.5
This smells sooo awful! I can't use it it smells so bad.....I would try a different treatment.. It's smells like plastic and chemicals1
