I think it's nice that Birchbox is sending out foundation samples, but mine was a totally miss in terms of color. I didn't particularly care for it, and the color selection is limited.

Not enough coverage and the scent isnt pleasant either.

The color of my sample was a little too yellow for my skin tone (which I can't hold against the product) however it also seemed very "cakey" after I applied it. It didn't really blend in on my face and seemed like a really obvious layer of makeup on my skin. Also I found it a little too watery when applying.

I liked this product but since I rarely wear foundation I doubt I would purchase it. If you have fair skin with minimal dark spots, I think this is a nice light product to try. Price point is fair too.

I sampled color # 2 which was a good color for me in transition months, a smidge too dark for fall/winter. (I have light hair and very light skin) It also didn't blend well, I could see it sitting on my skin. Not a flawless finish, not a natural easy to wear daily makeup like I prefer. Just didn't work for me.

Foundation was light weight and had minimal coverage. For my daily routine I use a tinted moisturizer, so if I am going to wear foundation I prefer something with more coverage.

This was soooo little I couldn't give it a fair shot. But, I didn't like the color much anyway.

Got sent a really orange, tiny sample to try. In a squeeze bottle. Wrong shade. Tried consistency anyway: barely covered anything but gave my hand a burnt-sienna hue. There wouldn't have been enough for a full-face application anyway. What gives?

I really disliked this product. The foundation was chalky and yet, watery? The color was much too light.

I think this is a good product, just didn't work on me. It's a very light, sheer foundation, a little on the watery side. I received #3, and the color match was just perfect for me. The problem I found was that the coverage just wasn't what I needed, and it didn't last long enough to do me any good. A good product for someone else, just not for me. Also, I didn't like the packaging...I know there is still some in there, but the little squeezy jar isn't cooperating with me. And I'm a cheapskate by nature...I need to use the last drop! I don't even mind a foil packet, if that means I get out a little more product.
