If you're not already a Clarisonic convert, you're missing out. Skeptical? Consider this: Using a sonic frequency to oscillate back and forth at a rate of more than 300 movements per second, the brush removes up to two times as much dirt and oil and up to six times as much makeup as cleansing with your hands. Youll notice clearer skin and smaller-looking pores after just a few weeks. While we love the original model, the pint-size Mia is a welcome addition, with its straightforward single button, single speed functionality. Plus, the smaller size means its ultra portable and perfect for travel.
I received this as a gift and use it daily in the shower. I'm not sure that I can tell the difference from when I don't use it. When I first start using it (or when I start up again from a hiatus) I definitely break out more---from what I've seen from other product reviews this is more-or-less expected because you start to bring all the grime from your pores up to the surface. You have to power though that stage to get the benefits.3
The travel size is convenient. I also like that it turns off after 60 seconds. My skin definitely feels much softer after using it, so that's really nice. I haven't noticed that much of a difference in my pore size and I've been using it about a month, I think it's making a small difference but it's hard to tell. If I hadn't purchased it with my 20% off joining coupon, it would probably say it wasn't worth the money.3
I bought this a little over a month ago I believe. My acne has been getting really bad recently when before I never had a blemish in my life so I was scrabbling trying to find anything to fix it. When I used the clarisonic it seemed to make me even more red and angry. I finally got myself to a dermatologist who told me not to use it because it will further irritate my skin. I really hope to go back to using it after I clear up and then I will be getting a sensitive brush head but as of right now it is not for me! I suggest asking your derm if they recommend it for you/your skin before purchase so you don't waste the money.3
bought this a couple years ago, i think it has made a difference in my complexion in terms of softness and blackheads but i didn't really notice any decreases in breakouts. i use it with unrefined coconut oil for the best success. the other big downfall in my mind is the price of the replacement brushes. it seems like it should be in the 10 dollar range considering the price of the clarisonic and how often you are supposed to replace them.3
I love the clarisonic mia brush but found if I used it twice a day, I ended up breaking out. After switching to just once a day, my skin was glowing and my make up went on much easier.3
After reading a lot of amazing clarisonic reviews, and a few not so good ones, I finally decided to get one since I had some BB points stocked up.
Well, they are right when they say that your skin feels really clean and smooth after. But, I'm still getting the occasionally pimple. I'm only using it once every other night, because I do have sensitive skin and I didn't want to overdo it right away. So maybe I'll notice a bigger difference after a month, but until then, it's okay, but I don't think it's going to clear all your problems. Any redness goes away after a few hours, and I've only used it at night, so I don't mind any of that. I do enjoy the soft skin though.
I have only had this product for a week so far, but can already tell that the regular brush is too harsh on my skin. I don't normally consider myself to have sensitive skin.... I've never gone out of my way to get products that are unscented to things like that. But as far as I can tell, the only brush that will be a good fit is the Cashmere one. It is so much softer than the brush head that comes with the Mia.4
When I started using this daily I noticed a big difference in how my skin felt. I can't say that it has helped much (yet) with the visible look of my pores, but it definitely makes my skin feel softer. Be careful around the eye area, or you can break capillaries. I would be cautious and stick to the lower part of the cheek only.4
There's a reason this face tool has a cult following! I've owned a Mia for 3-5 years (the same one) and I don't know what I'd do without it! It cleans, exfoliates and makes any cleanser feel luxurious. I love the Mia because its portable. The larger Clairsonic has multiple speeds and more bells and whistles, but I prefer the convenience of the Mia. All Clairsonics are rechargeable and you can buy replacement brush heads to suit your specific needs. If my Mia broke tomorrow, I'd immediately buy a new one.4
I really do love my clarisonic and I use it about 3 times per week. I think it does a nice job of cleaning my skin and exfoliating it!4
