I spent over a year LOVING my Soma carafe. Then they "improved" the design. The claim is that it now filters out more contaminants, however, the result is that it now barely filters water at all. The filtering is a slow drip at best, and frequently the filter never completely finishes processing- which leaves the carafe top heavy and your drinking glass empty. I have now spent several months going back and forth with customer service asking very direct questions about what they are doing to address the new issues- which have been acknowledged. Instead of answers I have received filter 1.0 replacements- which I have been informed they have a supply of but will not sell, which is interesting to say the least. This month I received a 2.0 filter in a 1.0 soaking bag. Tricky, but not. The filter didn't work any better after being repackaged. I did all the problem shooting, tried to be patient for 2 weeks, then logged in and discontinued my subscription. I really wanted to support this company. I am disappointed that things went the way they did.
