With an afternoon or evening of grilling on your schedule, you have two choices when it comes to what to wear: the rattiest t-shirt you own, or a nice shirt that’s all but guaranteed to get dirty. Instead, simply don this ruggedly stylish canvas apron. It provides a barrier between you and all the flyaway sauces and marinades that come with being King of the Grill.
Its mad out of nice material like a carhartt jacket but, I dont think that amount of durability is needed near the grill or in the kitchen. It still covers the same area a normal apron would cover and most things dont soak through an apron. Mine is still sitting in the cabinet with the rest of my grilling items. Used only one time and never again over bad idea1
The material itself wasn't bad, but I found the overall construction of the apron to be cheap and rather small for an apron. That is, it didn't cover much of my clothing.1
Nice quality but a bit small for me. I wish it were a little bigger/thicker.1
I was not terribly impressed with this product. I'm not a big griller, but when I do, I don't feel the need to wear a potato rucksack, which is what this looks and feels like, to me. Maybe for keeping sawdust off of you, but even then.. not great. Rugged and uncomfortable, for sure.1
Really have no use for an apron. That being said, it is decent quality.1
My boyfriend wasn't impressed by this, he didn't seem to see any reason to use an apron (he doesn't grill much, and he doesn't see the need for an apron while cooking). He's 24, however, so that may effect his opinion. Needless to say, he wasn't impressed with the BirchBox at all.1
Tried on this apron first, I was really excited about this before I got it. Was SEVERELY disappointed in what was in the box. It looked cheap and tacky. I tried it on once and threw it away.1
I don't really use aprons and this was a bit big on me1
I would never wear an apron...regardless of how cool it may look.1
I was excited to see this apron in my birchbox this month. However, upon opening the product, I quickly noticed the cheap materials it was made of. The metal D rings were small and flimsy, the canvas material wasn't a rugged as I was expecting, and the puny little leather straps were a joke. They are light and weak. Not to mention that if you are wearing a XS, S, or M size, don't plan on this apron fitting. Clearly made by skinny models for skinny models. Very disappointing.1
