Sometimes wrangling our curls seems so challenging, we wish we could send our locks to hair obedience school. Luckily, Miss Jessie's (aka the curl-whisperer) trains hair to behave itself. Exhibit A: This gentle wide-toothed comb. Use it to thoroughly detangle kinked strands while minimizing breakage (the main cause of frizz) and keeping your ringlets intact.
I am 43 with long thick hair, and like a child I have to spend hours getting tangles out. I workout crossfit daily and there is days that I am so sore I cannot even brush my hair.
this comb is doing the job wonderfully.
The comb works well to detangle my hair, but I was expecting something a little sturdier. It was a little flimsy.3
I have used the same purple comb for years as my detangler. I was told that I needed to give this a try. I did, and wow! No split ends, no knots; very effortless right outta the shower!5
I have always been told never to use combs on my thick, wavy and (usually) frizzy hair. I was told they would make things worse.
However, after doing some research, I found that wide combs are actually BETTER for thick hair than brushes are, since they cause less breakage. Less breakage means less flyaways and frizz for me!
Needless to say, this exceeded expectations. I can comb through my hair after a shower, braid my hair and let it out the next day...and then comb again and the waves STAY PUT.
This is seriously a life-changer. <3
Simple, but effective in keeping my curls less frizzy. Inexpensive, Easy to hold & lightweight too. Would definitely recommend!5
I ordered this comb to leave in my purse. It's nice and slim and very sturdy for a plastic comb. It's great for a quick fix during the work day or while out and about. Also great to detangle after washing my hair.4
I actually don't have curly hair, but my hair gets super tangly when it is wet so i prefer to use a wide tooth comb and this one works great!5
The teeth on this comb are too pointy and it hurts my scalp when I use it. Other than that it is just a normal comb and wasn't worth the $6 in my opinion when you can get one much cheaper at Target.2
I love this comb, I find that when I use it, my hair never has static! I've never used a comb or brush that does cause static at some point. Absolutely worth every penny, and quote honestly I would've paid at least double the price for this!5
The idea behind the comb is great, but it seems to make my hair way more frizzy. I have very tight curls and am extremely prone to frizz, so I have found that the smoothing technique works better than combing. Worth a try though!2
