Sometimes wrangling our curls seems so challenging, we wish we could send our locks to hair obedience school. Luckily, Miss Jessie's (aka the curl-whisperer) trains hair to behave itself. Exhibit A: This gentle wide-toothed comb. Use it to thoroughly detangle kinked strands while minimizing breakage (the main cause of frizz) and keeping your ringlets intact.
I used this on both mine and my daughter's hair. We both have long fine hair and it's hard to find a comb that doesn't snag our hair. Paired this with the prep and protect detangling spray and am completely satisfied. I definitely recommend!5
I love this comb. I use this comb daily on my hair and my little girl's hair. It works like a dream.5
Absolutely the best for me when it comes to in shower detangling. Great grip and minimal snagging the teeth are a great width...Super durable and will last a long time.4
This broke within a week of purchase. My hair isn't super thick or long or anything. I've got short, curly hair. The comb I picked up at the supermarket for a dollar has lasted much longer than this did.1
The teeth on this thing are vicious. I was genuinely afraid to use it; I gave it a few tries, then hid it behind my hair products. After losing all my other combs, I decided to just be extra careful when using it, and I didn't die (phew!). It's definitely sturdy and the material seems to be great for frizz control, just Be Careful! Avoid your scalp and you'll love it. Forget for just one second that it has actual teeth, and you might end up needing stitches! (<- I'm exaggerating a bit...)3
This comb feels sturdy, doesn't rip my hair out, does what it's supposed to. Nothing magical. Basic product for a decent price. No complaints!4
I have for years been trying to find the perfect wide toothed comb for my very long curly hair. I use this both in the shower while conditioning and then after as well. If you are looking for a great wide toothed comb for your curly mane, I recommend this one.5
The description lead me to believe that I couldn't live without this comb......but I can. It's teeth are very pointed and it hurts my scalp (and I have very thick hair). It didn't perform any better than any other wide tooth comb. It's pretty unremarkable.3
I bought this comb, because mine had seen better days. I use it in the shower after conditioning. It takes the tangles out easily. I also use it on my 5 year olds long hair after her bath.5
Yes this wide toothed comb detangles hair quite well. But the teeth are sharp! I don't even bother to comb my hair with it anymore because it hurts my scalp. I'm not sure if I'm just tender headed or if I've got the one comb that needs to be filed down more.2
