When it comes to makeup, we’re with Kermit: It’s not easy being green. But Inika, a cosmetics range that’s as rigorously au naturel as it is au courant, makes being eco-friendly downright effortless. We’re smitten with the brand’s certified organic eyeliners, which come in rich, long-lasting colors and deliver guilt-free drama. Bonus: The lid doubles as a sharpener.
I did not know make up could be organic before I got this in my box. I received the color "Green Lagoon." I am a fan of green because I have brown eyes. This color was a little more on the "blue" side, which I am not a huge fan of, but the color went on really smoothly and was consistent. I absolutely love the fact that this product is organic, so you don't have to worry about the harsh chemicals that are in most products- it really makes me feel good about putting this product so close to my eye, such as on my waterline.5
This liner is very soft and gentle, and lasts all day. I received the green in my recent box and although it is not normally a color I would choose, it actually looks very pretty with my brown eyes. I love that it comes with a built in sharpener.5
I don't typically wear liners or shadows but this is a nice color for my hazel/green eyes. It does not last all day though, which is really not a big deal for me. I think the sharpener on the lid is a nice bonus.4
I love this eye liner! The color is beautiful and looks great. The best part is the lid that doubles as a sharpener. That makes it very convenient.5
I liked this eyeliner because it was shimmery.....but the color was very light. The green lagoon shade was not bold enough for someone with fair skin. It made me look washed out. Better for someone with darker complexion than myself.3
I received this eyeliner as one of my samples for the month and was pleasantly surprised. The color was a little out there for me but I actually really liked it and got a lot of compliments when wearing it. The best part of this eyeliner, though, has got to be the attached sharpener.5
I received the INKA eyeliner in green lagoon in my most recent Birchbox. I love that it is mineral based. It is easy to apply and the texture is great. I also liked that it was long-lasting and didn't easy smudge throughout the day. The sharpener that came with it is really nifty and innovative as well. I wasn't crazy about the particular color I received. The green lagoon is a bit too bright for my taste, but it is fun to use when dressing up or can easily be toned down if necessary. I did like the metallic sheen and rich color though. I would love to try a different shade. Overall I was very pleased with it and would rank it among my top brand choices for eyeliners.3
Received this in my February box. Would never wear green eyeliner, but for something with a costume party. If it had been a different color such as black or brown I would have been very very pleased. Good product, just wasn't happy with the color I received.2
I got the green, and I like that this can either be applied to be bold or subtle. It looks really bright, and it's a good change from my usual dark eyeliner. It also applies really smoothly--for a pencil, it was a good level of softness.4
I received this eyeliner in Green Lagoon. I was concerned about wearing green eyeliner, but when I put it on, I loved it. It is a beautiful grayish green color that shimmers. I received many compliments on my makeup when wearing it!5
