When it comes to makeup, we’re with Kermit: It’s not easy being green. But Inika, a cosmetics range that’s as rigorously au naturel as it is au courant, makes being eco-friendly downright effortless. We’re smitten with the brand’s certified organic eyeliners, which come in rich, long-lasting colors and deliver guilt-free drama. Bonus: The lid doubles as a sharpener.
I'm not usually one for colored eyeliner, but I received this eyeliner in green and I actually really like it! The color has a metallic look and blends well with my eye shadow. The cap with the sharpener in it is a great feature. My only complaint is that the cap doesn't stay on very well. Other than that, great product!4
I love this eye linger. It stays put and it applies easily. The lid doesn't fit very snuggly on the pencil so sometimes it gets lost in the bottom of my makeup bag and makes me worry the pencil will break... causing me to sharpen it more/use it faster. But the Color (light green) is subtle and and doesn't smudge.5
Color isn't as pigmented as it says. Lasts a short time and you have to press harder then I like being a contact lens wearer. I do love the sharpener on the end though. More companies should add that cool feature to make it easier!3
Just genius. The color I sampled - a teal/aqua - was a great complement and added just enough pop without being dragged down by a dark liner. Did I mention the sharpener in the lid? As someone who can never find her sharpener when she needs it, this makes the product that much more useable (and sustainable!)5
The eyliner was just okay (I got silver, and honestly, 90% of the time, I just don't see the point of colored eyeliners.)
It wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't great.
The biggest disappointment though, was in the sharpener. What I thought was a clever idea at first, turned out to be useless, as the sharpener itself is too small to allow the pencil far enough in to be sharpened at all.
And in the long run, unless you plan to keep the sharpener (assuming it works), it's pretty wasteful. Just buy a better eyeliner, and a separate sharpener you can actually use.
Love this liner for its clean lines and rich color. It's not a soft pencil, so you'll need to be gentle when applying. Once applied, it has good staying power. I have sensitive eyes and unfortunately rub them more than I should; this liner holds up to some abuse.4
I love INIKA eyeliner, it goes on smooth and lasts all day. It doesn't smudge and I don't have to re-apply if I am going from work to a party! The best organic eyeliner I have every used!5
The green color is awesome. I usually stick to black or brown, but this gives a good pop of color without being overdone. Color stays in place - does not run. Would highly recommend.5
i found this product to be a little bit hard especially because it is in a wooden pencil. They tend to dry out the inner product a lot quicker than usual..4
This liner has a good dark charcoal color that I enjoy but by 11 in the morning it is falling down my face. I love the sharpener on the end as well, great addition to the product. This just falls so bad that I only use it when I will be out for just a few hours....2
