Come winter, our skin can get drier than a Diablo Cody script—but unlike the screenwriter’s sense of humor, there’s nothing very funny about it. Luckily, the skincare wizards at ARCONA have our backs (or rather, our faces). This featherlight gel works three ways to keep your skin in high spirits: It moisturizes, neutralizes free radicals, and keeps pores clear—leaving you glowing and dewy-faced through the colder months and beyond. Bonus: It’s great for all skin types!
It does go on a bit greasy but it dries pretty quick -- and I love the smell. I will warn it's pretty strong so if you're sensitive to fragrance steer clear. But I found it to be really hydrating, good for winter!5
Please bring this fantastic moisturizer back to Birchbox!
My sensitive over 40 skin really loves this product. The texture is nice and light and packs a ton of moisture barrier protection alone or under serums.
Perfection and truly magical moisturizer. No SPF makes it very desirable choice for night and day with or without SPF add on.
Great, natural product list. I don't use this as a regular moisturizer exactly, but it is a part of my morning beauty routine. I use a toner first, then a serum, then this.... and my skin has never looked better!5
This face lotion is incredible - so light and wakes you up in the morning when you apply it. Your skin feels refreshed and it barely feels like you have put any lotion on. Favorite lotion I've received so far!5
My skin is picky when it comes to facial moisturizers. The difference I felt with the Arcona Magic White Ice is that it went much farther than just hydrating my skin at the surface - it seeped under my skin and kept my skin feeling soft and dewy all day without clogging my pores. And after a long day of working, running around the city and hitting the gym, it's the perfect gel to put on just before bed at night - light and airy. My skin was actually craving it again each night and morning!5
I'm a loyal fan of (another brand) of moisturizer, LOYAL. But this one knocked me off my rocker... and it's a gel! I have combination skin bordering on the oily side, yet sensitive to the dry climate I live in. I need moisture on my skin but nothing too heavy or filled with 'stuff' - the less the ingredients the better. I've dismissed gels in the past because they're sticky, but this one leaves skin soft to the touch. This is light weight and dries quickly. I ordered a full bottle after my birchbox sample ran out - it's the first divergence from my normal moisturizer in 10years!5
the weather has been really crazy this winter. i got this as a sample this winter. used it once, liked it, but figured i'd just use it when i ran out of my usual winter moisturizer.
this past week, i desperately needed some serious exfoliation. so i used my favorite dermabrasion (Origins) and despite my seriously sensitive skin, i went ahead and used some Biore strips in some areas. my skin was a little red & dry afterwards, since this is most definitely NOT my normal routine.
i decided to use the Magic White Ice to calm and add some moisture ("ICE" in the name of the product was appealing!) and i could not be more pleased. my skin felt incredibly soft straight away, and not a hint of dryness or tightness, was left. the next day my skin felt even better. smooth and hydrated.
while this product is way out of my beauty product price range, i will surely splurge on this one day.
others have complained - but i love the unusual texture and smell. it's one of the best moisturizers i've ever used.
I had never heard of this product prior to receiving it in my box....what a great surprise! My tired winter skin literally soaked this gel right up. I liked the consistency, and it did not leave my skin one bit oily.5
I was skeptical when I first tried this very light moisturizer, but it keeps my skin moist, even in the below zero winter weather. Best of all, it keeps my acne in check because it's non-comedogenic.5
I can't get over how delicious this smells -- like grape or something. I want to eat it.
It also seems to do a good job of moisturizing mildly, while also seeming to tone skin. And it hasn't made my ultra-sensitive skin break out, so far....
