We understand the importance of vitamins on our plates, but what about the products we slather on our face? Thankfully, (MALIN+GOETZ) gives our skin an ample dose of vitamins with this daily-use oil-free moisturizer. Its lightweight, antioxidant-rich formula has intensely hydrating properties and provides pH balance for all skin types, especially those with sensitive skin.
This seems like it could be a good daily moisturizer, but I prefer to stick with the one that I am currently using...especially for the price of the product.1
I don't think think this product is right for me. I have combination skin. Might be better for the winter though or if you have dry or normal skin.1
I don't really use these types of products and I feel it didn't work for me at all.1
I think I've heard good things about this product, but it was way too heavy for me! Smelly, sticky, and clogging. Might be better for someone with less sensitive and drier skin.1
This product moisturizes but is nothing special, and it is most definitely not worth the hefty price. Also, the moisturizer smells like vitamins (similar to the smell of an energy drink)...which is not pleasant.1
These sample packets were far to small for me to decide whether or not I liked the product. It looks like a great product, but I won't buy it because I don't know how well it works.1
I haven't used the actual samples sent out by Birchbox but I'm 99% certain I've gotten samples of this before from elsewhere. I seem to recall that I liked the moisturizer ok, but I had some concerns that the ingredients didn't appear to be as natural as I like for them to be. I'm not really up on reading ingredients, I will admit, but there seemed to be a lot of chemically sounding names and not enough things it was easy to understand such as grape seed oil. Just using that as a random example, but I hope you get my point.1
Made me break out and seemed to clog the pores around my nose and the crease of my chin. Wanted to love this but something in it just doesn't agree with my skin. That said, it did go on smoothly and absorbed quickly with no residue. Still glad I got to try this brand before spending boku bucks on a full size.1
I read ingredient labels on skincare products very closely. This moisturizer almost passed my test until I got to the second to last ingredient: Limonene. This is a fragrant ingredient that can be irritating to the skin. Furthermore, research shows that daily use of fragrant products on skin -- particularly the delicate skin on your face -- can lead to chronic irritation, which worsens dryness, damages healthy collagen production, and impairs the skin's ability to heal. It doesn't matter if it's natural fragrance derived from essential oils or synthetic, and it's best to avoid fragrant products regardless of your skin type.
I gave this thing a shot anyway in the hopes that the limonene is only present in a miniscule amount (which it very well might be -- it didn't smell super strong). I didn't break out in hives or anything, but my face did seem a little redder after using it. I also feel like it's not super moisturizing. My skin is definitely on the dryer side, and I need heavy duty moisturizing at night. While this would go nicely in the morning under makeup since it absorbs so quickly, there's sadly no SPF. I prefer to use day creams with an SPF of 30-45 during the day, so this definitely is not the right product for me.
It was, ok. That's all. Just ok. I have seriously dry skin but certain products will make my skin oily very quickly. This product did make my skin oily. I even tried using it on just my eye wrinkles but my cheeks and all around where I put it got oily.1
