Washing fragile hair is kind of like a game of Jenga: a delicate touch and good strategy are key. So when it comes to cleansing sensitive strands, this carefully formulated gentle neroli shampoo stacks up well against the competition. Its foaming formula can be used daily to rinse out build-up without the risk of further damaging overprocessed hair. Newly purified strands are left softer and stronger.
Sample size was extremely small for my thick long hair - so maybe I didn't realize it's full potential. Didn't like the smell - reminded me of plants.1
This was not for me. I used one packet and it didn't even cover my whole head, and I don't have thick hair. I wouldn't want to use two packets just to wash my hair, the bottle wouldn't last very long. Not for me.1
My hair needs more than a gentle shampoo so I wasn't the target purchase group. It didn't do anything for me and I ended up rewashing with my normal stuff. I think if you need a gentle shampoo you should give it a try.1
I long, thick hair so the sample was not even enough for one washing for me. Would have love to have had enough for at least one washing.1
Although this is described as a "gentle" shampoo, the ingredients on this site list sulfates as some of the main ingredients. I don't use sulfates on my hair because it is fine and wavy and sulfates really dry out my hair and scalp and make me frizzy. If this really was a gentle shampoo, I would have been very happy to sample it but unfortunately, it's just not for me.1
Okay, clearly I am not going to trust Malin +Goetz's professional expertise when I know nothing about them. Anyway, shampoo smelled okay, but I like the brand I am already loyal to better.1
The smell of this product is great, however, because of hair issues that I am using, I prefer to use my anti breakage shampoo.1
I didn't like this shampoo at all. I got two foil packets in my monthly birchbox and had to use both to try it once due to my hair length. The next day I felt as if my hair was heavy and slightly greasy. I would have tried it again to get a better idea had I received a decent enough size to try it a few times.1
I loved the smell of this stuff, but as I was rinsing it out of my hair, I noticed the foam was pink. It was washing the color out of my hair. I'm quite a few months out of my last color job, so this just straight stripped it. As red hair is the hardest color to maintain, I don't really need any help washing the color out of it. Even if this made my hair look perfect everyday, I couldn't justify using that for this reason.1
I did not care for smell of this product. The feel of my hair after shampooing was odd. Not a product for me.2
