A French aperitif, the Kir Royal, is the inspiration for this bright, refreshing fragrance. Part of the Collection Metal, the unisex scent is, like that classic cocktail, cool, but approachable, bubbly, but grounded. And, because it’s a highly concentrated cologne—at 18 percent, significantly more potent than your usual scents—it has serious staying power.
I am very picky with fragrance and I was pleasantly surprised with Silver Iris. This scent makes me happy. A bit pricey though. I would like a smaller size. While this scent is listed as unisex, I do not think that I would want to smell it on a man--it seems a little too feminine for that.
5I typically like floral scents, but this one it too strong even for me. I don't know how this can be claimed to be unisex. If it's too strong for me, there is no man I know who could be encouraged to wear it. It has serious staying power as claimed. However, given the scent, I'm not so sure that's a good thing.
2The scent does last. You get a lot of perfume in the bottle and I love that the perfume actually comes in a dark bottle. That's supposed to help perfume last longer and usually is a sign of a good perfume. This is a great perfume for me -- I'll have to see what it smells like on men. I didn't realize it was unisex.
