While we’d never suggest that you give up your sacred cup of morning coffee, we think the best way to relax come mid-afternoon is with a soothing mug of tea. Based in the UK, Ahmad Tea is the fourth-generation purveyor behind this tasteful assortment. The gift-worthy wooden tea keeper is filled with an array of artisan blends, all flavorful enough to convince even the most resolute coffee addict to make room for another go-to beverage.
Firstly, I prefer tea over coffee and I drink it unsweetened. I was very pleased that it had so much flavor without adding anything else. I was also able to reuse one tea bag over and over again for the whole work day!1
Not impressed. I am not crazy about the flavors. I received 2 of bags of the English No.1, one of the earl grey, and one of the english breakfast tea. I was not impressed with the underwhelming flavors of any of them. I have bought better tasting teas in the grocery store.1
I received a sample of 3 tea bags. English eta no. 1 and jasmine green tea are included in this. I am not a big tea drinker so I wasn't overly impressed but if you like tea, try it. I have had bad tea and I wouldn't consider this bad.2
The tea was a lot stronger than I expected it to be, even with a supposed light flavor. I wish it came with some non-caffeinated teas as well.2
The packaging and tea was fun and an enjoyable treat but I have my favorites and it just didn't compare. Especially the best English breakfast I've tasted is P&G brand.3
i liked the blackberry. I hate peppermint tea and the other one was just ok. I am not going to order tea through Birchbox, that's for sure. getting a sample was nice, but for lack of anything else, i would have rather received a beauty product.3
I only had the sample of this tea, I didn't purchase the keeper box. I'm not a huge tea enthusiast, but the black tea was pretty good. I'm actually looking forward to trying the other flavors.4
Love the jasmine green tea, smells amazing. It is definitely milder than other green teas I drink, but I like that. The black No. 1 is a milder earl grey tea which isn't my favorite, but it was smoother than a typical earl grey. Would definitely buy more of the jasmine tea.4
This tea is amazing. Not at all bitter even though I tend to steep the t bag for way longer then suggested.4
I received 3 Ahmad tea bags in my November box. I love tea every evening so was pleasantly surprised by this. I usually go for green so I tried that first and was expecting more. It was too light for me. Maybe because I regularly drink green tea and tea in general and like it strong. I'd need to use 3 of these green tea bags before it got to a good strength.
The English was actually very good, reminded me of earl grey but a little different.
The Black Current wasn't for me. I don't normally like fruity or citrus-y teas. It was too sweet for me (and I never put sugar in tea).
Like I said I got the samples not the entire box set so I can't comment on the quality of the wooden tea keeper box. Looks lovely though.
