When we discovered Jouer, this miraculous balm was the first product we fell in love with and our affair is going strong. It's no surprise that we always have a tube of this on hand: It's deeply moisturizing, smells amazing, and delivers the prettiest hint of sheer pink color. The best part? It minimizes the appearance of fine lines and boosts your lips with Maxi-Lip™, an ingredient that adds fullness without stinging or tingling.
This is a nice gloss to have in your back pocket - but I am not sure how much of a plumper it is. Birchbox was correct in their review that there is no tingling or numbness (like other plumpers I've tried) but there was also little effect. Perhaps because I already have full lips to begin with, the effect was minimal.2
I don't feel like this really does much of anything. I guess it is a decent lip treatment, but I don't feel like it does anything more for me than items that are far less expensive.2
This product had nothing great about it. It was actually too shiny for me. It didnt do anything special, and you can actually get the same effect from on over the counter product.2
I was hoping this would work for both my gloss and my lip balm but it didn't really work well as a balm2
"Jouer Lip Enhancer" is a bit misleading... I was definitely expecting something to plump my lips. I'm sure the product does it's job, but I personally hate the feeling of product on my lips.2
this product made my lips feel greasy, and it didnt last that long on my lips. i have so many other lip products in my arsenal that work better with my lips.2
It just seemed like any other Chapstick type product to me...Only it didn't make my lips feel as soft and the texture and taste isn't that great.2
Not that great. After several hours of wearing and reapplying I can't say I saw anything noticeable. It wasn't very moisturizing, and the smell is kinda off-putting. Overall, it seems lip a trumped up Carmex, and I'd rather get my money's worth out of Carmex.2
I'm not a fan. I ALWAYS have something on my lips so I figured I would like this product but the consistency was a bit watery and felt weird on. It also didn't seem to last long at all. I prefer something that is a little thicker so it offers more coverage. Otherwise I would be reapplying every 10 minutes!2
Even when I used only a little bit, it seemed to make my lips look super oily to the point where I'm not sure if it was even moisturizing. I'd rather stick with my Sugar Lip Treatment, which I absolutely love and swear by, and think that BirchBox should include in future boxes.2
