The fashion world is gaga for Ruffian, so we’re not surprised that their signature runway mani has a cult following all its own. The crescent moon-inspired shape (which sits at the base of the nail: think upside-down French manicure) is edgy, unexpected, and totally on-trend. But if you’re anything like us, your hands are a little too shaky to pull off flawless nail art. Don’t despair: RUFFIAN manicure stencils are here. Get ready to rock this runway look—steady hand not required.
My DIY trick is to use the paper enforcers (those white circular stickers for 3 ring binder paper). They come in cheap packs with a bunch and they work the same way. Also, there is less pressure to get them to stick the first time because when you mess up you just grab a new sticker!2
I love these stencils. You can do so many hot nail looks with them and the price is not bad! I will definitely buy them again, I love the look. You could use hole protectors for the same thing but these are perfect.5
I'm not a fan of paying to get my nails done, and I love that these stencils are a simple way to jazz up my manicure without a whole lot of effort.
My one complaint was that the adhesive on the sticker peeled off the base coat on a couple of my nails, but I was able to quickly and easily re-apply that.
I like that they come in a variety of different sizes so you can mix and match depending on your nail size and shape.
I attended a black tie Christmas Eve dinner and wore a black & white dress. I accessorized with a big chunky white stone ring. The ring lost all its glory when my freshly painted nails got all the attention! I painted my nails with a white matte polish and used the Ruffian stencils to paint an oval at the base of my nail with black glitter polish. Three people asked me where I had my nails done.3
I was really excited about this product, but they didn't stick to my nails at all and were completely unusable.1
Not really worth buying, not very useful chip nails3
I loved this it was amazing holy cow. I do my nails every other day but with this i keep it on for longer than that!3
This is a great way to do something different. I had and will continue to purchase this item. This will make a great stocking stuffer. How fun?4
I bought these for my daughter as she does her nails every few days and is into doing different designs on them. We've tried other makeshift tools to do half moons. She used these and said that they worked better than other methods she tried.4
I absolutely love the idea of these. When I used them the just don't adhere enough to keep the polish from seeping under the sticker. I don't think I would buy again. I've tried a few different times, cleaning my nails each time. It may just be me. ;)2
