RUFFIAN Manicure Stencil Kit

The fashion world is gaga for Ruffian, so we’re not surprised that their signature runway mani has a cult following all its own. The crescent moon-inspired shape (which sits at the base of the nail: think upside-down French manicure) is edgy, unexpected, and totally on-trend. But if you’re anything like us, your hands are a little too shaky to pull off flawless nail art. Don’t despair: RUFFIAN manicure stencils are here. Get ready to rock this runway look—steady hand not required.

I adored the Ruffian Manicure the second I saw it, and was so glad to find these stickers to help my unsteady hands. But rather than help, they ruined my manicure. The stickers left adhesive on my nails--even though they were fully dry by a day--and the color seeped underneath, no matter how hard I pressed. I had to take off the polish and start again with something else. Too bad!

Wouldn't purchase again....

Most of the sizes were too big for my fingers. Directions were confusing. Picture on packaging would have been beneficial...

Super sticky

I tried using these, but they left a gooey residue making the rest of my manicure goopy and unappealing. I do like the idea behind how these can help you create designs, though. I'm going to try them again and wait an extra long time for my base coat to dry first. If that doesn't work, I may need to use the Ruffian base coat as it may be designed especially for these stencils.

Helpful and easy to use!

This cute little mani "matchbook" has round sticker stencils in various sizes from large to small so you can select the size that works best for your nails and for the design you want. There are several sheets of each size in the pack. And they really stick! Definitely let your base color dry completely before sticking one of these on, as it WILL pull off your polish.

Terrible!
Purchased

Okay, I was so excited to try these because I don't have a steady enough hand to paint on my own reverse French manicure, however these ended up making my nails look like I did! They don't adhere tightly enough so paint seeps under no matter how careful you are AND the sizing is not at all one size fits all. Needless to say these were not worth $2.00 much less $6.00?!

Yes and No

I was by all means pleased by the performance of these stencils, and I love the idea. However, I am not likely to purchase them again because I feel that for the price there should be more in the package. I understand and appreciate they are fashionable, but a little disappointed in quantity.

Not effective

These circular stencils are flat so they gap at the curve of your cuticle. This means if you don't want seepage you need to really press the stickers hard. Unfortunately, if you do this you pull up any nail polish under the sticker. You're left with a 'lip' below which you apply the second color, but the end look is not smooth and pretty amateurish looking.
