This sleek zinc keychain could probably get by on looks alone, but don't be surprised if you find yourself touting its more practical charms. Besides doubling as a handy stylus for any touchscreen, the special clamping mechanism also connects sturdily and safely to the side of your smartphone to serve as a stand—so you can keep your hands free and your business in sight.
If you can use something like this then it will do its job. But honestly, its kinda big a clunky. Nothing I want to be dragging around so I can use it twice a month.1
Although my boyfriend already had a similar iphone stand product he really loved this product. The sleek modern design was a big selling point and it just works really well. One thing though: The keychain aspect seemed as if it was a last minute add on...not really useful or necessary.5
The stylus aspect of this tool works fine on my phone, however I don't think I would have ever used one in the first place. The option to use the tool as a kickstand of sorts would be more useful on phones without rounded bases, however. There is no point in having a phone wobbling left and right when the user could just hold it.
Then you also have the issue of not being able to use it as both a kickstand AND a stylus at the same time.
The item is bulky and has no place in an already maxed key chain. Would not recommend, to be honest.
This is a great concept however the "stylus" end of the upwrite is HUGE! You would never be able to use this much on a small phone. I think if the whole size of the item was decreased it would be more effective.3
I have an iPhone 5 and this product doesn't seem to have any necessity to my finger taping lifestyle. With that, I have to literally stab at my phone to get the product to actually work. I think my fingers are more useful to my iPhone than the tip of the stylus is. It creates more work than is necessary to use my phone. The key chain holder is nifty but it is kind of excessive amongst my keys. The kick stand portion is the most useful for me, but because of the nature of the product and the screen, the kick stand part that holds the screen blocks part of the screen. So, I would try a different product all together.1
I've got a few Quirky products lurking around the office and some in my home- at first, I thought this was a cool (be it unnecessary) item.
Got to try it out in the office today... A twist of the stylus end will adjust the grip. Be
CAREFUL sliding you items in- that's where the first plastic nubbin popped off. Next, I twisted to snug up my phone... Be CAREFUL to not over tighten lest the thing will practically explode with some plastic innards spewing out of a pretty shiny chrome cone. I might mess with it to try and put my humpy back together- but it's more likely going in the waste can.
Skip this item, instead seek a Quirky bungee loop with hook (use these all the time) or a Quirky desktop cable manager, or the Quirky dustpan (amazing how design can help add function you never knew you needed.)
While I was interested in trying out this product, I was a bit let down. I don't use a stylus for my phone. When I tried using it, it did not interact as fluidly as my finger with navigating my phone. For now, I'll keep it on my key ring and see if it doesn't come in handy, but as of today, it is just something that makes my keys bulky.3
This is really just an over-sized key chain. The stylus us no more precise than your finger. The stand feature might be useful if it weren't actually clamped to the phone. When you get a call or text, you have to either use the phone with the stand attached or remove it. There are better executed products out there.1
The kickstand portion of this product does not work around my outterbox, therefore I can only use it for half its purpose.3
This was a great little kicker in the package this month. I love having the ability to just set this on my Ipad and have it stand up.5
