Unlike other hand creams, where the first thing you notice is the texture, this luxurious lotion grabs your attention with its scent. The lovely rose fragrance is both alluring and feminine — you’ll want to drink it in. Happily, the formula is equally addictive: a rich salve that soaks right up and leaves hands petal smooth.
The smell is not good, it's way too strong. Not to mention the price, you can get something a lot less expensive, and better smelling.1
The rose scent of this lotion is incredibly overpowering and nauseating. It doesn't fade over time either. I eventually had to wash my hands to get the scent off - it was driving me crazy! Some people may like a strong rose scent...but I am definitely not one of them. It moisturized and absorbed well enough but I couldn't keep it on my hands long enough to see if it had lasting effects.1
This stuff works well and absorbs quickly, but the smell is awful and smells like an old lady. Also way too expensive for hand cream at almost $50. Lastly, sample was ridiculously small to be considered part of the birchbox.1
The scent of this hand cream is so strong that I couldn't stand to sample it more than once. It moisturizes well, but it didn't blow my mind or anything. The price is far too high for what it is.1
I definitely was not a fan of the scent of this hand cream. Also it left my hands feeling a bit sticky and the packaging wasn't really that great either. Not good for more than a one time use, which doesn't allow one to really give it a few chances. However, it was a beauty extra in the box and you win some and lose some. I'm glad I at least got to try it out!1
didn't love the scent, otherwise a good product, kept hands soft.1
I'm disappointed with this lotion. The scent is very overpowering and the texture is actually feels a bit greasy on my skin.1
I utterly detest anything rose-scented. It literally made my stomach turn when I tried it. That is just personal preference with scent though. I am happy with the size of the product. I also liked the product itself. I soaked in well, wasn't at all greasy, and was very nice. I just had to wash it off because of the smell. Otherwise, a great product.1
This lotion might be for some people, but I just found it gross. It was greasy and didn't absorb well. The scent was sickening and way too strong. The price is simply ridiculous for a hand lotion. I can get the same quality product with a better fragrance at Bath and Body Works. I appreciate high end products, but $50 dollars for lotion is silly. Additionally, it is hard to judge a product off such a small sample size.2
I love rose scented lotions, so this was great. If I was able to try it more, I could assess whether it was effective or not.2
