We can’t all have flawless skin like Hollywood beauty Cate Blanchett (we challenge anyone to do a Google image search and not be consumed with complexion envy). That, however, doesn’t mean we can’t fake it. This lightweight medium-coverage foundation revitalizes skin and leaves your complexion perfectly clear and refreshed, for an enviably radiant finish.
I ordered this off of Hautelook and at first I hated it, I hated the thick consistency and the smell of it. After using it for a week, I honestly fell in love with it. I've been using it for about 2-3 months now. Its such a nice foundation, and if you use a good primer it doesn't break up on you it lasts a long time (i use the hourglass mineral veil primer). Also Theres a ton of shade options, and it just looks really nice on the face in my opinion. It doesn't latch on to dry spots like other foundations have done in the past.5
I bought it from hautelook because it was a very good deal. I'm 22 years old with normal skin sometimes on the dry side. This sunk into wrinkles I didn't even know I had, it clung on the extremely minimal dry patches and the biggest issue I had is I don't understand what is radiant about it? It looks like a regular satin foundation no dewy radiance here.3
I have been very interested in trying out BECCA products so when I saw a sale on Hautelook (sorry BB) I jumped at the opportunity.
This foundation is terrible.
It sinks into my pores and makes every single flaw jump out. Honestly, I hydrated before with Kiehls ultra facial cream and this foundation sucked into my face making it look dried out and every pore and line bigger and more glaring. I'm terribly self conscious right now of someone looking too closely at my face. It does not make my face look radiant. It is a dull, flat almost chalky color. (I purchased porcelain)
It looks cakey and all the hairs, blackheads and pores on my face are so shockingly on display that all i can think of is when i can go home and wash my face.
I usually use Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation which i would recommend over this product all day.
I have combo skin and this foundation hydrates where I am dry and does not add shine to my face, just a radiant glow. My go to.5
Okay...I typically do not write reviews. But I'm honestly very SHOCKED that this has low scores. Are you kidding? I'm the most oily person, and was afraid that this foundation would slide off, but let me tell you, it's THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FINISH I've ever had. It covers so well for a medium coverage foundation and it literally feels good on my skin. I haven't broken out. I feel like my other expensive foundations leave me oily and emphasize my flaws and bumps. Definitely light and gentle enough for everyday use and beautiful enough to use for special events.5
I just discovered this foundation no to long ago and I simply love it. The name radiant actually scared me since I equate radiant with oiliness but the foundation is actually a satin matte. The foundation is quite thick so I mix a little fix+ to help spread on my face. I only do one layer since I hate the feeling and look of full coverage foundation. Definitely a keeper.5
I love Becca products, so I did not hesitate in purchasing this foundation. It gives moderate to full coverage, buildable, and fragrance-free. I only need minimal coverage, and it appeared cakey after one application. It has matte coverage, which I like, but it appeared heavy on my skin. The following day, I had a few break-outs on my forehead and chin. I would recommend this product for someone looking for moderate coverage, but it just didn't work for me. I gave it to a friend of mine, and she loves it. I'm glad it didn't go to waste!3
I was surprised to see that this product had relatively low-scoring reviews, until I read through them. It's clear to me that many of the reviewers here are not people who use foundation or put much thought into it. Bottom line: this is a very nice, light-to-medium coverage formula. The texture is creamy, which results in a product that's forgiving to skin texture issues such as large pores or flaky areas--it does NOT mean it feels heavy or looks cakey on the face. It has a satin, skin-like finish. If you're combination or oily, you will want to set it with powder. It will not cover spots or rosacea on its own, but that's why God invented concealers.
Becca also makes one of the best shade ranges I've found, because they pay attention to undertones. Pale girls like me who find that the lightest shades in a range are too pink will be happy with Becca's paler shades (I wear Shell, as a fair, warm, olive complexion). They also produce a variety of undertones for darker skins, something that's patgetically overlooked in many brands.
I've owned dozens of mid to high-end foundations in the past twenty years, and this is one of my top. I find myself reaching for this most days over my luxury-brand base products and plan on repurchasing indefinitely.
I loved the sample so I bought the product! I had never been able to find the right foundation until I sampled this one. I absolutely love that the sample comes with multiple tones. I've had issues with my skin with acne and oil but this product does not make me break out and keeps my face relatively oil free. My skin looks perfect with this and I often use it alone over moisturizer.5
My skin looked airbrushed after using my sample! I loved this product and will be buying full size. The lighter shades were great for contouring as well.5
