We can’t all have flawless skin like Hollywood beauty Cate Blanchett (we challenge anyone to do a Google image search and not be consumed with complexion envy). That, however, doesn’t mean we can’t fake it. This lightweight medium-coverage foundation revitalizes skin and leaves your complexion perfectly clear and refreshed, for an enviably radiant finish.
I have been using a powder foundation and am starting to notice it's hard to get that "flawless" look. No matter what primer or moisturizer, I get more of a grainy look. When I got this sample of Becca foundation in. I went straight for the noisette shade and I wore it out with my girlfriends. It went on like silk and covered perfectly. I have pretty even skin tone and few blemishes, so I can't attest to how coverage would be on more problematic skin. It gave me a "flawless" look and the shade was spot on. I decided to try the olive color next and it was also a similar shade. I think I'm in between them. This will be the product that converts me back to a liquid foundation.5
For reference I have oily/combo skin.
My skin tone matched with Olive from the sample card that was sent (the sample card had all the "medium" shades" together and it looks like a medicine pill card). I like the idea of the sample card, but for the purpose of wanting to try out a color in a span of two days, is not hygienic because there's no way of covering the product.
The foundation blended easily by itself and with a primer. Unfortunately, it left me feeling and looking greasy by end of the day. The foundation would be more suitable for normal/dry skin.
The foundation looked great and stayed on all day but my skin unfortunately is not as dewy as the foundation so my face looked a lot nicer than my neck and chest4
I really did like this product and if I didn't already use a different product that I really love too, I would probably swich to this.4
This foundation had a great coverage, and wasn't too heavy. I liked it, but I am a die hard MAC Studio Fix fluid fan, so I couldn't cheat on them with this foundation.4
I love that six sample shades were included, but I'm more of a light/medium and all the shades looked too dark for me! The one I tried felt very nice on, not too heavy!3
I don't wear foundation on a regular basis. I prefer to use tinted moisturizers. Foundation just feels too heavy on my skin, and being freakishly pale, i have a hard time finding a shade that matches.1
I liked this foundation however already have one that works for me, and is cheaper!3
The shade range that I received this month were too dark and olive for my skin tone.3
This creamy, thick foundation really did the trick for me. I didn't need a base or powder, and it lasted all day. The only problem was that it's way out of my price range, and I feel I can find something comparable for at least $20 less.4
