Sometimes the rest of your face just gets in the way when you’re applying mascara. Even when you’re careful, it inevitably smudges on your eye lid and below your bottom lashes. Now there’s a way to prevent these common snafus: Lash Card, based on the makeup artist trick of using a cut out business card. This thick card keeps smears away and can also be used to separate any clumps. It comes in a cute package that slides right into your makeup bag.
I found these to be a pointless product, and I would never spend money on them. If you're learning how to do mascara I could see how they might be useful, or if you were putting it on someone else I guess. When I do my own mascara I don't smear and smudge it all down my face, so I don't use these.1
I like the lash cards because they help you separate the clumps in your mascara but it is nothing that I cant live without. It eliminates the step of having to use a lash comb. Also helps with layering mascara.4
these are a good idea in theory but having to hold the card and the wand is tough plus you have to set down the mascara tube as well. Maybe this is meant for makeup artists who are putting makeup on someone else but it was not easy for me to use and got tossed out.1
At first glance this seems like one of those superfluous beauty things that we try but that eventually end up in the bottom of our drawers with regrets of the purchase--NOT SO! I won't even swipe on a casual coat of mascara (somedays that's all I put on) without using one of these! Not only do they protect your lids/eyemakup from mascara blotches--by appluing your mascara with the lashcard I am able to extent my lashes out and up which gives a more "open-eyed" look. Curl your lashes first and major lash drama is easily achieved!5
I like these and they do the job, but I wish they were made of a flexibly plastic vs cardboard so I could angle the card better. Very cheap and worth a try.4
Perfect product fallout collector. Mess free easy fast removal. Clean surface. And lightweight. Easy time save r to clean up.5
It is a good idea for a product, but I think it is hard to make a shape that will work with all eye shapes. It didn't work with my shape, but it may work well for others.3
These are not sturdy cards and they can only be used once. The description does not state one time use only. This box only has 20 cards in it.1
Admittedly, I almost always mess up my eyeshadow/liner when applying mascara- but not anymore! I love how easy these are to use and what a clean look I get after using them. New staple in my makeup products!5
When you first use these you automatically think they stink; HOWEVER after the learning curve you will fall in love with them. If you are not a person that won't stick with something don't buy - But I refuse to put on my mascara without them now. I have really short lashes and very sparse and they have changed the look of my mascara products TOTALLY! Everyone ask what I am doing different now and it is all due to this product. People with big eyes and long lashes may not need because they don't have to monkey with their lashes a lot to get them to spread out and lengthen, for me these are a lifesaver. I have 1 pack in my train case and 5 back ups in storage. Will not put on mascara without these. Thanks Birchbox for selling these at a very affordable price.5
