On a scale of one to ten, our eyebrows are Andy Rooney. Translation: extremely bushy and as temperamental as the legendary curmudgeon himself. To bring them back down to Shields-levels, we’ve been turning to CAILYN Cosmetics’ trust Gel Eyebrow. With three complexion-flattering color options, the gel mimics the look of real hair to fill in sparse spots, while keeping errant hairs in place.
Love this eyebrow product. Goes on easily and application is easy to control with brush. So glad I purchased this product.5
It isn't too dark, washes out easily, and goes on even easier! It's the easiest thing I've ever used to color in my eyebrows4
I was looking for a totally different brow product when I happened to come across this one on BIRCHBOX. Originally, I wanted a brow powder but in a pencil shape, which is extremely hard to find! I have used cake-type brow powders before and they were ok, but tended to be difficlt to apply. After reading about the product, I decided to give this gel brow color a try and it was well worth it! The color is very natural, it glides on easily (with the little brush that is included with the set), and has good staying power! My mother even remarked that she liked the color and application! For whatever reason, the brush seems to do all the work and perfectly, so it is super quick and easy to apply as well! This Gelux Eyebrow from Cailyn is a keeper and is definitely worth the $19!5
I would compare this to dipbrow but less creamy. It holds up well all day and with the right brush you can blend it out for a nice natural and fuller looking brow.3
I got his product hoping it would fill in my sparse areas in a natural way. For starters I don't think I got a dark enough color, but the gel is also really greasy so it's not easy to apply. You have to dip the brush really hard into the pot to get enough and then push really hard on the brush to get it to apply to your brow. It also doesn't stay in place very well. I was very disappointed. I guess I will have to try and find a pencil.2
The color was just the right shade of cocoa but the texture just did not work on my brows. The gel seemed to look painted on but my brows thin out at the sides mostly and makes it difficult to fill in naturally. Might be fine for others.2
I love eyebrows and typically wear mine full and dark. I've ventured from my loved eyebrow pencil in grey-brown to try this gel and found myself pleasantly surprised on how nice it is. The brush is great for drawing in "hairs" for a soft and natural definition. Also does double duty and keep eyebrow hair in place.4
I have been trying several brow pencils and powders, and I really think as far as a powder like tint, this is by far the best. It goes on kinda dark, but looks very natural. and it stays!! Now if they would just make a pencil, I would be happy!!!5
