Color Club® designed this fall collection in honor of the stylish urbanite who knows the power of a gleaming new mani (and can spot a salon deal from five blocks away). Each one of these glossy lacquers is inspired by a chic urban locale. Plus, they’re perfect for helping us transition our color palettes from summer to fall. (We’re crushing hard on Williamsburg—a shimmery navy blue—and we swear it’s not just because we’re New Yorkers.)
I really like the way these polishes go on. I got this one in Uptown, I picked it because I love the rich red color in the picture but the actual color is purple and the glitter is suppose to be red. I still like the color combo the glitter gives the polish a coppery shimmer.4
I love the color choices for this product. I have natural nails and this goes on evenly and dries quick. I haven't had any issues with chipping until after the first few days which is pretty much average.4
I got the white color and didnt think id ever use it but saw on pintrest to use as a base for bright colors and its amazing5
This shade has a beautiful opulence over a purple to red shade. The picture herd doesn't do it justice. There are so many layers of color and shine to this polish. Truly unique!5
I loved the bluish color I got as a sample; I thought it went on smooth and not too thick. The color is pretty and looks great!4
My color was gold struck. I liked the color a lot. Went on smooth. Not too thick. Can get by with one coat if in a rush but 2 coats looks great!4
I love the color but am not too pleased with how thick the polish seemed after one application. Overall beautiful color!3
Since I first learned about CC, I've immensely disliked the brand and found their formula awful and subpar, streaky, goopy, you name it awful. When Birchbox has sent me samples, I usually passed them on to my friends.
I purchased The Uptown because it's such a unique shade, and a close-ish dupe for a much more expensive polish, so I reluctantly purchased it.
The formula was as awful as I remembered it being. It was thick and goopy and hard to control. I can understand the sheerness due to its jelly-like color and the flakies, but a polish being sheer going on and thick/goopy is unacceptable.
If you find the swatches exciting, I'd say get the polish -- it really is lovely. But be warned of the awful formula.
My sample was not this color, but a peach silver color. The color was bold, but it didn't hold long. Maybe, 2-4 days even though I used a top coat. It started chipping away very soon. The color that was picked for me was a little bold for my taste. Overall, okay nail polish; I would try to make sure you use strong top coat to keep the nail polish lasting longer.2
Very bright and brilliant color! Nicely smooths over my nails and pops! Easy to apply. But I don't get to wear polish very often so it's nice when I get to try products.4
