This compact palette from Coastal Scents contains no fewer than 88 unique eye shadow shades. Break out the color wheel, because you’ll feel the urge to experiment with some daring new combos. Inspired by the sandy dunes and vibrant skies of the Sahara Desert, there’s a hue to match every color on your mood ring (and then some). Even Lawrence of Arabia would be impressed.
I love smokey eyes! I don't often do them but these were the perfect colors for when i want to get all dolled up for a night on the town.4
I love eyeshadow! I wish wish wish I would get a good eyeshadow in my Birchboxes. But, I got coastal scents, I know some people love them, but I really can't stand them, I just don't think the quality is all that good and I don't like the packaging. If that weren't enough, I got totally unwearable colors for me, light pink, dark pink, silver-ish tan, and lavender. Not for me at all. I will try it, but it was my least favorite item out of the box.1
While I didnt recieve this sample in my birchbox, I can support this pallet, as I own similar ones. Great pigment in the colors and variety!5
My eyeshadows arrived damaged and covering everything else in my box :( A couple of them were still intact and the colors are beautiful and very vibrant. Can't wait to wear them out!!!!5
Pretty colors. Real nice to blend together with other shadows.4
I loved the colors on this palette, very neutral and pretty.5
I really enjoyed the colors I received in my birchbox, but I have other eyeshadow brands that I prefer.4
While I think the colors are super fun, I just don't veer too far from my shades of brown eyeshadow. Might be good to try for fun though!2
I received this as my sample, and I thought it looked great once it was on. The lighter silver was especially nice.4
The colors I received were not neutral by any means, and I can only see myself using one of them. In addition, these shadows aren't very pigmented, and in my opinion they smell like cheap kids dress-up eyeshadows (kind of like chalk or baby powder). The application feels smooth, but they're really not for me.1
