Ernest Hemingway, exemplar of all things craggy and masculine, was the inspiration for this complex fragrance—but don’t expect notes of rum and tobacco. Featuring top notes of Italian bergamot, juniper, and black pepper, a heart of orange blossom, Florentine iris, and cinnamon, and a base of vetiver, vanilla, and yellow amber, this is a cultured cologne for a cultured man. Papa would approve.
I'm very picky about cologne and always looking something that smells masculine without being too woodsy. This is a strong cologne without being overwhelming. Great smell, great staying power. One of the few colognes that my girlfriend loved on me.5
The pleasant, fruity aroma, that stays on the skin for a while and gives out a soft fragrance. I really like the fact that it is not strong and does not have that alcohol-like smell to it5
As of now I don't wear cologne but this sample made me want to start it has a great manly woodsy smell is pricy though4
I like this smell but it's a little overpriced for full szie5
This isn't a smell for a night club... it is very light, but very clean and professional, but still young. I love it!5
Just sprayed the sample and I really dig this scent. It seems perfect for early autumn and is something I would definitely consider buying again.5
Another clean, crisp scent from Birchbox. Smells REALLY good. Perfect Fall scent. Can't imagine paying that much for (or any scent) though.5
It's not my type of smell it's really strong it's smells like something my grandpa would use I'll get him some but it's not my type4
This cologne smells amazing, I have had about 10 colognes in the last year and by far this sample is the best4
The spiciness of this cologne makes for a great winter scent and something that I will absolutely consider buying for myself.4
