Histoires de Parfums 1899 - 2 fl oz

Ernest Hemingway, exemplar of all things craggy and masculine, was the inspiration for this complex fragrance—but don’t expect notes of rum and tobacco. Featuring top notes of Italian bergamot, juniper, and black pepper, a heart of orange blossom, Florentine iris, and cinnamon, and a base of vetiver, vanilla, and yellow amber, this is a cultured cologne for a cultured man. Papa would approve.

Great manly scent
Sampled

I'm very picky about cologne and always looking something that smells masculine without being too woodsy. This is a strong cologne without being overwhelming. Great smell, great staying power. One of the few colognes that my girlfriend loved on me.

Smelling good

For years I've been a huge fan of scents from Lacoste and polo but I do believe I just found my go to spray for a classic evening out! A dab of this stuff will make a great addition to any collection.

Cool box, but not my type of scent

I'm kind of in love with the cute little box this sample came in, but the scent is not my favorite.

Very nice cologne

I will definitely purchase in the future. A little pricey but worth it I believe.

Great Cologne

Great Cologne

This is a solid product, but I'm not sure how sold I am on it. $125.00 is average for a cologne, but how many scents does a man possibly need?

Sweet Surprise

When I saw this cologne in the box and read that it was a bit of a peppery scent i was a bit held back on wanting to apply it...but after spraying it I fell in love with the scent. The scent is something I enjoy smelling on myself all day long, and the majority of people I came into contact with that noticed it said it was a good smell...only one person told me the sweetness made it smell a little closer to perfume.

Spicy

This fragrance reminds my very much so of Spicebomb by Viktor and Rolf; a fragrance that I typically wear everyday. I got a lot of complements wearing this fragrance, it meshed well with my personality, and my chemistry

Smells great, definitely something to consider as my new scent

Really love this, will probably end up buying at some point after my current one runs.

Smells great but not sure worth the price.

I like my colognes. I am very particular/ downright picky when it comes to them and I choose quality brands. This stuff smells really good but not sure it merits a $125 price tag. It would have to be something very unique and memorable for me to bite at a price like that and this cologne just sort of lacked that. Still good; not a must
