Old-world Paris was the inspiration for this complex fragrance. Featuring top notes of Italian bergamot, juniper, and black pepper, a heart of orange blossom, Florentine iris, and cinnamon, and a base of vetiver, vanilla, and yellow amber, it’s a cultured cologne for a cultured man.
I love this scent, it's probably the best cologne I've ever had5
Very manly strong and impressive fragrance. Will make you stand out. It is a bit expensive but worth the money.4
This smells good and is quite subtle, may be added to the rotation if it wasn't so expensive and it isn't really distinct enough from other scents.3
I liked this, but I didn't expect it to stick as well as it did. It doesn't fade, which I guess is a good thing if you like a really powerful smell. Maybe I put too much on, but it's a little too strong for me.3
I live this scent. I was surprised by how different it initially smelled but once it oxidized, it got better though out the day.5
I have never heard of the Histories brand before. The 2 fl oz Histories de Perfumes 1899 was a nice addition to my existing collection of fragrances. It has a nice subtle spice scent that lasts for an entire evening.3
I love the smell of this. My girlfriend loves the smell of this. I get several compliments a day (about smelling good)when wearing it. Nuff said!5
I love this scent. It is spicy and masculine while also managing to be sophisticated (more complex than a simple musk). Some reviewers reported that it is overpowering. I suspect they are over-using it (which is problematic with any cologne). Less is more. Try it!5
I always look forward to my Birch box fragrance testers. This one was on the spot. 4 Stars on the girlfriend test she liked it a lot so did I.4
Smelled like sown thing I would never ever wear. No thanks.1
